QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I'm running for federal office, and this is a state-level issue. There is no federal authority in most such matters (including murder) unless there are cross-border disputes; and then it's individual cases for courts to decide. No legislative authority at all.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
There is no constitutional federal authority in most such matters (including murder) unless there are cross-border disputes; and then it's individual cases for courts to decide. No legislative authority at all.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
That phrase isn't in the constitution. “Congress shall make no law respecting…” is the operative phrase. Congress is forbidden to write laws about ANY of the freedoms listed in the First Amendment. Congress is the only federal lawmaking body, so there can be NO federal laws respecting these six (most claim only five) enumerated freedoms. It's a total ban on federal authority in matters of religious practices, or institutions.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
There is NO federal authority to make such a mandate. Such a mandate would be socially divisive, immoral and destructive anyway.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
D. Absolutely D. We're broke, and we've driven too many nations into BRICS with our foreign interventions, subterfuge, nannying and treachery.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
But it's our fault. If we weren't so foolishly thuggish on our own monetary and military hegemony and influence, and if we were as free and prosperous as we should be, we'd have no external threats we couldn't easily handle.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Not at all as portrayed by AIPAC (a foreign agent working with our military-industrial complex) and Netanyahu (a criminal - besides what people claim about war crimes). We've always been uneasy allies (USS Liberty, for example). We've made too many enemies needlessly. I wish there were more room to answer here.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
None of our global military interventions are just. None. Not one. Many now know it. Our armed forces are in half the nations of the world, with guns pointed at the other half. We've made too many enemies, and lost too many friends, at horrific economic and human cost. And we're far less secure at home as a result.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
No government entity or agent, including incorporated churches/businesses, has any authority to mandate vaccination. But private businesses (not incorporated by government charter) and individuals can do what they want.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
D. But this can't be immediate; it'd have to be phased out over ten years, since individual and industry interdependencies are complicated
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
Cut the federal government down to its constitutionally authorized role, size, spending, and power. Most of our "federal" (unitary in practice) government is unconstitutional.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
"Forgiveness" is not the correct word. It's a taxpayer funded bailout of accountability. We shouldn't do this with banks, auto companies and foreign governments, either.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
This is fiscally irresponsible, as well as socially divisive and destructive.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
"Immigration" isn't what this is about. It's much, much worse, and all our government's fault. This is only an introduction to the real problems across our borders, and in DC: https://wedeclare.wordpress.com/2024/03/06/crisis-at-the-border-or-in-dc/
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who want constitutional freedom and opportunity. ...And people seeking refuge from terrible conditions we probably created in their home countries. We should NOT be directly importing criminals, foreign agents and soldiers, at taxpayer expense, for the purposes partly described here: https://wedeclare.wordpress.com/2024/03/06/crisis-at-the-border-or-in-dc/
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
This is a sate issue, though. There is no constitutional federal authority over education.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
This should've been done long ago. The GOP is hopelessly corrupt.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Neutral
This question is too vague. Some community programs are police programs. And not all "community programs" are good. This question is unanswerable in any specific way.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
There is such a thing as a wrong question, particularly from a misguided assumption that guns are any part of the problem with, for example two huge victim-groups of gun violence - Gang members/bystanders, and white males committing suicide. My constitutional position on gun rights, and the danger of our government's restrictions on such rights, is here: https://rumble.com/v4oggt9-the-federal-second-amendment-the-truth-you-never-hear.html
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Strongly Disagree
The number of people in black robes is among the very least of our problems.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Choose not to answer
The words "Conservative" and "Liberal" have been corrupted beyond communicative utility. That's why I have a whole chapter on language in politics in my book. Saying I'm a constitutionalist is the only thing that I can back up with actual written words, proposals, and personal history. And that's what my book is all about. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BJ46CHG5
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To punish those who'd defraud, rob or initiate violence against citizen's human rights to property and life, and to, as much as possible, prevent such abuse against citizens. It's an anti-violence force, with strong cautions/laws against it becoming the initiator of violence and abuse itself. That's what constitutional rule of law is for.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
Churches messed this up on their own. Churches (especially as 501c3 government entities) gave marriage unto Caesar, which made "marriage" about Social Security, visitation rights, bereavement pay, taxes...everything but a Holy Covenant between a man, a woman, and God.
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
But this is a state-level issue. It's only federal when disputes cross state lines; and then it's a matter for courts, not legislation. The constitution would have to be amended to make this a federal issue.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Because people tend to jump to incorrect conclusions when I discuss my faith, I'll say only that I'm a communicant member of a Reformed Presbyterian Church. That does NOT make me MAGA, or Israel-First, or whatever weird idolatry of government people make of conservative traditional faiths.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Agree
Voters need to be identified as citizens - how that is accomplished is getting increasingly tied to global surveillance technology (like Palantir), which I oppose.
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
People have this all wrong. I wrote a book that contains the constitutional design that I've never heard mentioned in any media: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BJ46CHG5 Or, ask me!
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
The USA is among the least racist nations on the planet. We humans do tend to be tribal, though...and along more than just racial lines. With more constitutional freedom, this would be less of a problem. The context is important - there is still global slave trade, and not only as it still exists in Mauritania, either.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Agree
But there is no constitutional federal authority to mandate this one way or another. This is a cultural disease.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Neutral
Follow the money. What we're told about "climate change" is mostly power-and-money-driven deception. But I'm very "green" in a true conservancy sense, and believe we should be much better stewards of our planet than we are. Our EPA and other global environmental agencies and agents are, sadly, extremely corrupt. And that has to be addressed. Only independents and "third party" candidates can even discuss this corruption with a straight face.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear. Newer-generation nuclear power is safer and cheaper than alternatives, but I love technology - other sources may be on the way, and we should be open to new tech. I love Point-Of-Service generation as well.
