Our services are not intended for use by children under age 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under age 13.
Address Look-Up and Location
When you enter or type an address, we use Radar, a third-party mapping and geocoding provider, to suggest addresses and to determine the voting location associated with your address. To do this, the address information you enter is sent to Radar for processing, and Radar’s handling of that information is governed by Radar’s own privacy policy. We may also use your approximate location, derived from your Internet (IP) address, to make address suggestions more relevant. We do not use your device’s GPS or precise location.
How We Track Visitors
Like most websites and mobile applications, iVoterGuide automatically collects certain information that may not be visible to you. We use cookies and similar technologies to support basic functionality of the site. We do not store personal information — such as your name or voting address — in cookies or session storage. Those who prefer not to use cookies are welcome to disable them in their browser, though some pages may not function properly without them. You may also clear this information in your browser when your visit is over.
As you use iVoterGuide, our servers record and monitor your Internet address (IP address) and use it to develop aggregated, statistical analysis. These analyses help us refine and adapt the content and design of our services, and help protect the security and integrity of our site.
