QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Life of the Mother
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Did not answer
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
As according to Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptist Association, the government cannot officially support one denomination over another, neither can it restrict the free exercise of religion. Our Founders understood that our government was founded upon a foundation of Judeo Christian principles and moral absolutes and as John Adams stated, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." James Wilson, a signer of the Constitution wrote " Far from being rivals or enemies, religion and law are twin sisters, friends, and mutual assistants. Both of these Founders understood that for a limited government, whose primary responsibility is to protect rights, to be effective requires a moral society that respects the God given rights of others and has a respect and a fear of the law. Therefore, our Government is to equally support the Church in its efforts to shape society and culture not to oppress it.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I don't believe that any medical procedure should be forced on any individual.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
I do not believe the Constitution gives any power to the federal government regarding health care; however, Medicaid and Medicare are well established government programs that many people depend upon today. Also, many American's have been forced to invest money into Medicare and therefore, the government is obligated to provide the services these individuals have been paying for throughout their decades of employment. I believe Congress must develop a long term strategy would eventually return the full administration, management and funding of Medicaid completely to the state legislatures. Congress should also develop a plan to allow future generations of Americans to invest their money in long term health care programs or health savings accounts instead of forcing them to invest in Medicare.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
Over the past several decades, America has become too involved in certain areas of the world, especially in regions where there is no national security interest for the United States. I do believe we have a responsibility to support our allies where their freedom or sovereignty is being threatened, or there is a clear threat to our national security or our vital interests. We should also be ready to help others who are seeking freedom and fighting tyranny. However, we should prioritize the interests, security and needs of America.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
First and foremost it to protect Americans from terrorism within our own country and that begins with securing our borders. We should also have accurate and effective screening for anyone entering the United States from foreign countries, especially those known to harbor terrorists. We also need to reform and rebuild our intelligence community, by refocusing its mission on foreign intelligence not social engineering or political engagement, as we have experienced since the Obama administration. When effective we must also stop terrorism before it reaches our borders by targeting their leaders and disrupting terrorist financing, including placing more sanctions on Iran and other nations that fund or harbor terrorists. We should not, by any means enter into any nuclear agreement with Iran.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Those who are truly seeking asylum from tyranny, oppression or harm by government. Those who are seeking freedom and liberty and want to contribute to the advancement of the United States. However, congress must reform our immigration laws to limit immigration, streamline the process and ensure we have secure borders.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
The Constitution specifies that the authority to regulate elections is given to the state legislatures, so Congress's role in election law is limited. However, Congress could pass a bill that includes model legislation for states seeking federal funds to implement.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism in any form is a threat to a free society. Our nation was built upon the idea that God created everyone equal and in the eyes of our government we are all given equal protection by the government and we all have equal opportunity. Unfortunately, the word racism has become a term used to attack political enemies when they hold differing political philosophies. As a nation that is dedicated to the concept that we are all created equal we must hold everyone to the same standards, equally apply justice and recognize individual liberty regardless of race.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
