I am a Prolife candidate. I have concern that if our nation ever gets to a point of a single payer healthcare system that we could end up with a social credit situation. In 1991 I was asked to let my mother go. She appeared to be a frail older lady with one lung from previous lung cancer surgery. She had contracted pneumonia and was in BAD shape. The doctors and ethics at that hospital wanted me to sign to pull the plug. Within a few weeks she made a full recovery and lived another three years.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I believe we should consider the Fair Tax Act. I envision this as a value added tax on goods and services. Essential items such as food would be exempt. Such a tax would give everyone skin in the game. That is to say regardless how you are making money legal or otherwise you are paying tax. If you have entered the country illegally or are working "under the table," you are paying into the system. As for the idea this would be a greater burden on the poor vs the rich; a poor man buys a Z71 Pickup Truck, a rich man buys a Bently, a poor man a Jon Boat whereas a rich person buys a Yatch. This value added tax would be capped at 10% and that rate could not be raised. Additionally, we would have a minimum corporate tax rate of 10% regardless of deductions on all profits earned by a corporation. By instituting such bold tax plan, the IRS could be essentially eliminated with a net result of cutting annual national annual expenditures by about $10 to $12 billion dollars annually.

If the goods and services are not readily available from another vendor/provider, then yes said business could be compelled to provide said goods or service. However, if the goods and/or services are readily available elsewhere then no the business should not have to comply and should have the right to refuse service. Case in point should a Catholic Hospital be required to provide Abortion on demand when there are other facilities available in the same community.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The Church and State are independent of one and other. However, the church cannot be removed from the fabric of our nation. US Constitution Art4 Sec3 via Northwest Ordinance; "Art3 Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged." Holy Trinity v. US 1892 Unanimous Supreme Court decision, "It is also said, and truly, that the Christian Religion is a part of the common law." There is no such clause as Freedom from religion; it is Freedom of religion. Our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs and values. It is my belief that the separation of church and state was so that we would not have a mandated religion, (The Chruch of England); not to restrict religion in the town square, schools, and etc... that an individual is free to choose how or if they worship. Additionally, Mississippi is unique, the state constitution mandates the Holy Bible is part of the Public School System and cannot be removed. The Mississippi Constitution Article 3 - Bill of Rights Sec. 18 No religious test as a qualification for office shall be required; and no preference shall be given by law to any religious sect, or mode of worship; but the free enjoyment of all religious sentiments and the different modes of worship shall be held sacred. The rights hereby secured shall not be construed to justify acts of licentiousness injurious to morals or dangerous to the peace and safety of the State, or to exclude the Holy Bible for use in any Public School of this State.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I believe in free will/choice. An individual should have the right to refuse a vaccine based on religion and medical causes. There are numerous immunizations we all have received throughout our lives for school, work, and etc... however, those have been proven therapeutics. Still today there are a host of required shots required to attend public schools and universities. In the case of a vaccine with unproven efficacy an individual should have the right of refusal. I am not an antivaccine person but rather anti-mandate. I work as a PA in Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery; hence I have had the COVID Vaccine, but it was my choice. I did choose to do this in order to protect my family. As for a military mandate I support freedom of choice. As a retired military officer, who was responsibilities to ensure my unit was worldwide deployable 72 hours or less, wheels up anywhere worldwide. In what is known as a RDF unit (Rapid Deployment Force) being fully immunized is required. Ask anyone who has spent time in such units, they can testify that we got a lot of shots everything from Yellow Fever, to Anthrax. If a soldier, sailor, airman refuses a immunization then the military should have the right to discharge the individual. Said discharge for refusing a shot should not be a mandatory dishonorable discharge but rather reflect the individuals entire service to the nation and could be Honorable Discharge.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who are in NEED of it, this is in addition to private healthcare options. Healthcare Insurance should not be mandated. The Affordable Care Act goes too far, example what need does a young single male have for ObGyn and Obstetrics services.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
1. We need to increase our efforts to export the American Culture into Islamic Nations. Economics and the American Lifestyle can affect huge change. We need to promote Democracy. We need to think on a long-term strategy rather than short term goals. In War College my recollection is that it is taught that it takes a minimum of three generations to affect radical change within a nation. Case in point look at areas that America has fought war's i.e., Germany, Japan, South Korea and remember we still have a military presence in all these locations. Additionally, they all have cultures that somewhat mirror our own culture. 2. We must focus on protecting human life. We need to put an end to the PC and Cancel Culture rather than protecting people from being offended. 3. The nation needs to recognize and fix systemic problems within our intelligence agencies. 4. We need to shut down terror training camps within our own borders.

I believe that a voter roll removal rule should be tied to a Social Security death benefit. In order to get the Social Security death benefit the funeral home should notify the election commissioner and have the deceased removed from the voter rolls before payment is made.

The New Left is trying to keep the nation divided. If the populous is divided, then we can be easily controlled. Let me share a little scripture with you. Luke 11:17 Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. Patrick Henry also spoke of this in his last public speech, "United we stand, divided fall. ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Energy is the life blood of the American economy and a national security issue. We need to use all forms of energy. We cannot and should not cut our use of fossil fuels at this time. We need to be using clean coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear, hydroelectric, hydrogen, wind, and solar. Eventually a renewable source will win out over conventional energy sources. But in the meantime in order remain a world leader we need to use all of our resources.

I grew up in a working-class home, the son of a single-parent household in West Virginia. I married my childhood sweetheart and have been married for over 40 years. My wife, Dorie and I have two sons. We as a family have been blessed to have lived the American Dream; the idea that anyone through hard work, determination, and prayer can achieve their goals and dreams. I am committed to ensuring that every family has the opportunity to achieve the American Dream. I am an American Patriot with twenty years of active-duty military service. I retired as a Captain. My journey in the public service started when I joined the Army as a "Combat Medic 91B." During my early military career, I had always sought out ways to go above and beyond what I was asked to do; having served in many leadership roles from a Squad Leader to Platoon Sergeant, and as a Medical Officer. I was selected as Soldier of the Year for TRADOC, FORSCOM, and Ft. Benning, Georgia. I was also selected as NCO of the Year while stationed in Nuremberg, Germany and inducted into the SGT. Morales Club. In the late 80's I transitioned from the enlisted ranks as a Sergeant First Class (SFC) to a Warrant Officer and then eventually becoming a Commissioned Officer. After retiring from the military, we as a family moved to Mississippi. I was integral part in establishing the cardiac surgery program in Vicksburg, as well as preforming sone of the first endoscopic vein harvesting procedures done in the state. I continue to work in cardiac and thoracic surgery in one of the premier surgical programs in the state, at St. Dominic's Hospital. Additionally, I started my own business Dec. 27, 2013, Buck Warrior Enterprises, LLC. As the founder and CEO of a manufacturing company, I can appreciate the difficulties associated with business leadership. I believe we need more business opportunities in Mississippi with less government interference and red tape. I feel we cannot stand on the sidelines while career politicians seek too radically change the fabric of America with one-party rule. Hence, I feel called to continue and stand by the oath that I took to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies Foreign and domestic. This is why I am running for Congress. My platform is based on what I call an E-3 principal: E-1 Education is paramount for our future as a world leader. In order for our nation to compete and lead form the front we must raise and train the next generation of leaders, inventors, scientists, and entrepreneurs. Additionally, to the education of our youth we need to reform the inmate population in order to return them to society as productive members. E-2 Economics is and will remain a challenge going forward. We need fair taxation with good representation. Too often our leadership has put self-interest first and not what's good for country as priority number one. An America first policy is critical in order for our families and children to have a better llife and brighter future. E-3 Energy, we need all forms of energy. CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The laws on the books need to be enforced. I could perhaps add one law. If you wish to purchase a firearm then you must be a citizen. A non-citizen i.e., a person or persons here for education, employment, etc... should not be able to purchase and take possession of a firearm. In the case of the Virginia Tech College student, he was a foreign national who killed 32 and wounded 17, under my rule he would not have been able buy the guns.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

If this was then the case automobile manufactures, and alcohol manufactures could be held liable for the drunk driver. That being said if a dealer knowingly sells a firearm illegal i.e., straw purchase then there are possible grounds for a lawsuit because of intent.
