RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
The American Constitution Party platform states, “Under no circumstances may the federal government fund or otherwise support any state or local government or any organization or entity, foreign or domestic, which advocates, encourages or participates in the practice of abortion. The right to life should not be made dependent upon a vote of a majority of any legislative body, including state legislatures. We also oppose all government “legalization” of euthanasia, infanticide, and suicide."
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
See answer to "Right to Life" - question 1.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
This issue is one that should be decided at the State level. The Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” That is the basis of Federalism, or “Sharing of Government Powers.” Therefore, following from that, the issue of abortion is now properly designated as a “State” issue, and the Federal Government should have no place in the process of legislating or enforcing abortion laws. Formulation and enforcement of abortion policy is not a power given to the Federal Government by the Constitution. See answer to "Right to Life" - question 1.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
It is not the role of Government, at any level, to secure “equal outcomes” for the U.S. citizenry.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
Government should be held accountable to fiscally responsible practices. Both major political parties put ideology over the long-term health of the Nation, resulting in reckless decisions to implement policies without adherence to actual budgets and sound economic models. "Fiscal Responsibility / Accountability" and "National Sovereignty" go hand in hand. If elected, I will work to reverse and reign in wasteful Government spending, with accountability and practical perspective.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The tax code needs to be simplified. Simplification includes the elimination of mechanisms such as the Child Tax Credit and Mortgage Deductions. A graduated flat tax model is a practical and fair implementation.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
See answer to "Religious Liberty" - question 3.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
See answer to "Religious Liberty" - question 3.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
Government, at any level, should not have a role in endorsing or promoting religion. The American Constitution Party position is as follows: Article I of the Bill of Rights reads: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Our Constitution grants no authority to the federal government either to grant or deny the religious expressions of the people in any place. Both the First and Tenth Amendments forbid such tyranny. We call upon all branches of government to cease their attacks on the religious liberties of the people and the states, regardless of the forum in which these liberties are exercised. We assert that any form of taxation on churches and other religious organizations is a direct and dangerous step toward state control of the church. Such intrusion is prohibited by the Constitution and must be halted. We assert that private organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, can determine their own membership, volunteers, and employment based on their oaths and creeds. Likewise, private individuals and businesses should not be required to provide services if it violates their moral and/or religious beliefs.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Vaccinations, of any kind, should be solely an individual’s choice without Government interference. Federal Mandates initiated through Executive Orders, such as those implemented regarding COVID-19, are a form of Federal Government overreach. In this particular case of COVID-19, although the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have the function of "providing guidance and making recommendations", the CDC does not have the Constitutional power to "make law." Congress is the Legislative Branch. Even so, under normal circumstances, neither the Legislative Branch, the Judicial Branch, nor the Executive Branch, are granted the power by the Constitution to formulate and enforce public health policy for the Nation. Considering the Founders' intent of Federalism, public health policy should only be formulated and enforced at the State and Local level.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. Medicaid and Medicare should be gradually phased out for upcoming generations. Providing Medicaid and Medicare (i.e. National Healthcare programs in general) is not a power given to the Federal Government by the Constitution.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. If elected, my long term goals are: 1. Drive and introduce legislation to the House floor to effectively limit, and in some cases eliminate, the capacity of U.S. business organizations and U.S. universities to transfer U.S. technology and business capital to Communist China either directly or by proxy. 2. Drive and introduce legislation to the House floor to effectively limit, and in some cases eliminate, the capacity of Communist China to invest in or purchase American real estate and land resources. 3. Work to adequately fund (1) the Department of Defense to address the primary geopolitical threats of Russia and Communist China, and (2) the Department of Homeland Security to protect U.S. sovereign borders and repel invasion by illegal immigrant, non-citizens, and potential terrorists. The American Constitution Party platform states "The United States is properly a free and sovereign republic which should strive to live in peace with all nations, without interfering in their internal affairs, and without permitting their interference in ours. We are, therefore, unalterably opposed to entangling alliances – via treaties, or any other form of commitment which compromise our national sovereignty, or commit us to intervention in foreign wars."
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
Israel should not be pressured, in any way, to compromise, withdraw from occupied territories, or remove the separation barrier in the West Bank. See answer to "National Security" - question 1.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
I will seek to realign National priorities to more traditional and proven "Peace Through Strength, America First" policies such as U.S. Energy Independence, U.S. Economic Strength, Sealed U.S. Sovereign Borders, and Superior U.S. Military Modalities arrayed as a deterrent against Communist Chinese and Russian aggression on the world stage. See answer to National Security - question 1.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Primarily, maintain secure National Borders and work with trusted allies on the world stage. Only taking action when imminent threats are clearly identified. See answer to "National Security" - question 1.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People following legal and established pathways to U.S. citizenship should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. Comprehensive screening methods must be deployed to identify terrorists and criminals.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
Factually, there are only two biological genders (male and female). “Gender identity and Sexual Orientation” are abstractions based in the mind only, and “abstractions” are not a foundation for a "special protection." It is not practical to have an infinite number of "special protections" for an infinite number of "specific abstractions." Existing non-discrimination laws, such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, are comprehensive and ruled to be broadly inclusive and sufficient.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is an expression of Marxism and Anti-American dogma. CRT is based in a movement of insurrection against the American Democratic Republic.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I subscribe to Judeo-Christian values including, but not limited to: Principle: Reliance on the Providence of God. ... Principle: Law of God forms basis of good human laws. ... Principle: Religion and Morality form basis of Liberty. ... Principle: The Equality of Man.... Principle: God-Given Human Rights.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Requiring a photo identification is one component of Election Integrity. "Election Integrity" and "National Sovereignty" go hand in hand.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Citizens Only Voting: If elected, I would drive and introduce legislation (The American Immigration and Sovereignty Act) to the House floor to outlaw the participation of illegal immigrant, non-citizens, in government functions and services (e.g. voting) and to strip tax exempt status from non-profit organizations that aid and abet the illegal human trafficking across U.S. sovereign borders.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
It is not the role of Government, at any level, to secure “equal outcomes” for the U.S. citizenry.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Predominantly, racism in present-day America is non-existent. There are those, unfortunately, who “create” fictitious cases of racism and inequality simply for political gain. These individuals and groups are the real threat to domestic security in the United States.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
I support policies for U.S. Energy Independence. "Energy Independence" and "National Sovereignty" go hand in hand.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Constitutional Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
N/A
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
I have a clean record. No convictions of any kind.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I will be balanced and practical in legislative priorities. I have formulated both short and long term goals if elected to Congress. I believe, "We the People, the Citizens of this Great Republic, must speak in one voice to decisively drive out the oppressors of Our Freedom and reinstate a Republic of Individual Freedom and Right of Self Determination for the Citizens, both young and old, as enshrined in the Constitution of United States, while promoting accountability at all levels in Government for present and future generations of Americans. We must stand together to realign National priorities to more traditional and proven "Peace Through Strength, America First" policies such as U.S. Energy Independence, U.S. Economic Strength, Election Integrity, Sealed U.S. Sovereign Borders, and Superior U.S. Military Modalities arrayed as a deterrent against Communist Chinese and Russian aggression on the world stage. All with the vision and end goal of fortifying Our National Sovereignty."
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Neutral
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The 2nd Amendment states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Gun ownership is a civil right. Furthermore, we live in a time of Government overreach and tyranny against the Citizens of this Great Republic. I oppose attempts to prohibit ownership of guns by law-abiding citizens and will stand against all laws which would require the registration of guns or ammunition. The American Constitution Party platform states, “The right to bear arms is inherent in the right of self defense, defense of the family, and defense against tyranny, conferred on the individual and the community by our Creator to safeguard life, liberty, and property, as well as to help preserve the independence of the nation. The right to keep and bear arms is guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the Constitution; it may not properly be infringed upon or denied. The American Constitution Party upholds the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms. We oppose attempts to prohibit ownership of guns by law-abiding citizens, and stand against all laws which would require the registration of guns or ammunition.”
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
