What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Nearly all our Founding Fathers adhered to Human Depravity; from George Washington to James Madison. Madison quoted Calvin as late Feb. 1788,"It may be a reflection on human nature, that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government. But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary."

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape, Incest, Life of the Mother

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised in the Catholic Church and my parents felt it was very important that we were raised being aware of other Christian denominations. I attended bible study on Sunday nights with my mother at our local Methodist Church, while at the same time receiving all of the formal Catholic catechisms. I believe the greatest and strongest moral base any human being can have is fathered with a firm belief and exposure to Judeo-Christian values. The New Testament is replete with excellent lessons and instruction in morality and the most enlightened human values. And as an American, I was raised to believe vehemently that all individuals should be allowed to worship the Almighty to the dictates of their own conscience. In contemporary times nations with Christian majorities not only believe this but enforce it the protection of law. Unfortunately not all other faiths do the same.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Additional comment from candidate:

It really has been the greatest honor of my professional life to represent the 170,000 citizens of House District 106. Though very challenging on occasion, with the demands of time sometimes very difficult, I have thoroughly enjoyed representing the hard working taxpayers of Denton County. I firmly believe that our nation is on the wrong track and we need to switch course of a multitude of fronts as soon as humanely possible. What will save our country is not more establishment cronyism but authentic constitutional conservative populism! God bless!
