What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
People are basically selfish. Our Founders wanted limited government. They were fearful of strong Federal Government becoming too powerful. Absolute power corrupts people in power. People are easily corrupted. Our Constitution with its checks and balances protects Americans from ourselves and leaders who want to run our lives. King George III was a monarch and a tyrant.
Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
God, Constitution, voters, Congress, Supreme Court
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion is legal in the USA, because a Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade. This can be changed when the hearts of American changes. I see evidence that the Pro-Life movement is embraced by the majority of Americans. I believe abortion on demand diminishes the value of human beings. I would be in favor of limiting abortion to the first 13 weeks, as other countries do. This would reduce the selling of baby body parts. Abortion to save the Mom is reasonable. I don't trust liberals to use this loophole as it is intended.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I believe salvation is a gift from God through belief in Jesus as my resurrected savior and Son of God. There is one thing I do every day to show love and obedience to my Lord. I tell the truth. Christians need to be known for being unselfish and loving all God's children. I worship a God of second chances. Everyone needs a second chance. We need to help others in time of need.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I have been a registered Republican voter since I voted for Nixon in 1972. I have made personal and corporate donations to political candidates for 30 years. I generally support candidates who are pro-business, and more conservative than the other candidate.

Additional comment from candidate:
I was called to run for public office. This is my first time running. On December 1, 2015 I filed to run for US House of Representatives, #18 in Florida. I did not qualify. Instead, I did qualify as a Republican candidate for Florida House #85 on June 24, 2016. As a business owner for 30 years, I take responsibility for all decisions I make, and all those made by my employees. That forces me to learn from bad decisions. As the owner, I am still responsible and dealing with decisiona I made 20 years ago. I am a native of Palm Beach County. I work in the same community in which I grew up, and that is my greatest strength. I have small town values and many, many personal relationships that help me be successful. My wife Jeanie and I married and moved into Wellington in 38 years ago. We have 3 adult children who are all successfully pursuing their careers and personal goals. We need experienced leaders. Things are getting worse, because we are not solving our biggest problems.
