Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Disagree

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape, incest or clear threat to the life of the mother.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Greed and the pursuit of dictatorial ambition.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in the preservation of our Judeo-Christian heritage and law ,and that the Holy Bible is God's gift to mankind and was fundamental in establishment of our US constitution and law. I was baptized and raised in NC Baptist congregations --but, (due to my many moves in the Navy and for other jobs) my wife and I and 4 daughters found it more convenient or necessary to attend, enjoy and join Presbyterian, Lutheran and Episcopalian churches. I currently and primarily attend and am still a member of the Baptist Church of my youth in Forest City ,NC.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I was endorsed by President Reagan in my general election campaign for US Congress(Wisc.2nd district,1984)so I have been, and still am a Reagan conservative. And, in my answers given in my prior campaigns (to many political surveys (past and present),media debates/events,speeches )my conservative positions on economics ,right to life ,military ,foreign affairs issues, immigration ,national security are all clearly documented from my 6 prior attempts for US Congress and Senate in Wisconsin and NC.

Additional comment from candidate:

I hope that voters will consider my broad work experience ,first as a nuclear engineer, and later as a physician cancer specialist for 40 y and for past 9 y, as a government contractor who has trained First Responders in 25 countries( Israel, Russia, China, etc.) in the Emergency Medical management of nuclear radiation incidents, working at the Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters, with US Embassies, with NASA(MSL), IAEA, WHO. My broad life/ work experience prepares me to serve and benefit the people of the NC 10th district on issues involving health care, drugs, veterans affairs, public health, hi tech job creation and nuclear non-proliferation. I am not entirely naive about the workings of Congress since I learned much from many years of discussions with my first cousin, former Congressman WC(Bill) Young(Fla.) and believe I could now be an effective Congressman advocate for all people of the 10th district. As always, I am "Self-Funding" and accept NO money for primary election.
