A few: cut out all wasteful spending, cut out duplicative programs, cut out Medicare and welfare program fraud and abuse. Reduce foreign aid...just to name a few. Cut out any funding for abortions. Cut any funding to anti-Christian or anti-religious organizations.

No such thing. I am the Church, I am the State. The idea was not a separation, but rather a system of governance using GODly principles. Our founders fully intended for the Church to influence the State, but not the other way around.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Leave the doctor/patient relationship in tact. Work on quicker but thorough research for a drug to get to market without any needless costs/overhead, including permitting. Cut out free medical for those who are here illegally. Eliminate waste, fraud and abuse in both Medicaid and Medicare. Let the states run as much of those programs as possible, put (at least a part of) the burden on them to manage the costs so that it impacts their budgets. States should have a "vested interest" in lowering costs. We also need tort reform and transparency in pricing.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Educate our children from a very early age about the Judeo/CHRISTian values our country was not only founded on, but built on and sustained by Almighty GOD. Denounce the horrendous practice that radical Islamic Terrorism has of demeaning women - torturing them, raping them, and demanding strict adherence to the Muslim faith, even under penalty of death. We should work with other countries to find and eradicate any threatening terrorist group that has publicly stated they want to destroy the U.S. and has demonstrated so with action. We should also demand that all Muslim groups publicly denounce radical Islamic Terrorism or they can't do business with us. We should also sanction countries that do support and do business with the radical Islamic Terrorists.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Five things: 1) I am a committed CHRISTIan. 2) I love my Beautiful Bride of 43 years, our kids & grandkids. 3) I love my country & representing the people of District 14. I am extremely patriotic. 4) I love humor, it is GOD's aspirin for reality & it is useful for overlooking offenses. 5) I am very serious about the preceding four things.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Criminals should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of existing laws. Law abiding citizens need no restrictions. When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. Guns don't cause crime anymore than computers cause pornography. None of my guns have jumped down off the shelf and shot anyone. Remember what (I think) Jefferson said: He who beats his guns into plowshares will plow for he who does not! Long and short of restrictions on law abiding citizens: none.

Sane energy policy, sane tax policy, sane appropriations processes in Congress. Legislation that prevents the use of taxpayer dollars to fund abortion.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is, in any form, reprehensible. We have existing laws on the books prohibiting institutional racism. We should denounce any and all forms wherever it may exist. However, racism is increasingly becoming weaponized. By that I mean, when people do not agree with someone of a different religion, ethnicity or color, more frequently they are maligned and labeled "racist". This can and has incited violent behavior. What has made this country exceptional is our right to disagree with others on the facts and figures. Just because you many not share the same skin color doesn't automatically make of you "racist." The media is pushing the racist narrative and it is dividing our country. What was it Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr said? "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." So, in summary, any form of racism is a threat and bad for America.
