We need to reduce much of the regulation, taxation, mandates, and litigation issues that drive up the cost of care. We also should get government out of the way so that creative solutions like telehealth can continue to grow in availability. Christian healthcare-sharing ministries also work well for many people.

All men since Adam are under the curse of sin, and as such tend toward selfishness, pride, and seeking of power for themselves. Through the power of the Holy Spirit working in believers in Christ, they are able to overcome some of this and live self-governed lives, but experience has proven that careful protection of God-given liberties, and limitations on the power of government, is necessary.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that the Bible is infallible truth. Human life and liberty are gifts from God; we should hate evil and seek justice; we should love our neighbor; sacrificial giving is a duty; we should show self-discipline, self-respect, respect for elders and for others; the natural resources of the Earth, including animals, should be used and enjoyed.

Over my 8 years in the legislature, I have introduced numerous school choice bills and bills blocking Common Core in Virginia... introduced aggressive pro-life legislation, ie. 20-week Pain-Capable... consistently vote opposing tax and fee increases and for welfare reform... supported and introduced several bills opposing radical homosexual agenda, written op-eds seeking to convey truth about radical homosexual agenda... introduced several bills seeking justice and mercy for those who affected by Virginia laws. I have received high ratings or endorsements from conservative organizations including The Family Foundation of Virginia, NRA, VCDL, Club for Growth, Virginia Society for Human Life, and many more.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I was one of nine siblings and grew up knowing the value of a dollar and hard work; My wife of 35 years, Joanne, and I raised and homeschooled 7 children. We also successfully ran a small business for 40 years building custom homes in Northern Virginia. I've served the last 8 years in the Virginia House of Delegates as a citizen-legislator.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I've been working hard for the residents and businesses of the 33rd House District, as well as advocating for conservative policies and speaking out against destructive liberal policies. I look forward to reversing the recent course of our Virginia government, and getting the Commonwealth back on track to being a great place to live, work, worship and raise a family.
