QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None. My faith tells me that it is always murder to take an innocent life. I do not believe there are circumstances necessitating a choice between a mother's life and her baby's life. Taking the life of a baby conceived in rape or incest only creates a second victim.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
Socialism provides a robust foundation for a stable economy.
Strongly Disagree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Facilitate job creation by unleashing the power of the free market Seek to provide access to good career training in K-12 education. Condition all public assistance on work requirements. Abolish mandatory automatic licenses revocation for non-payment of fees and fines. Support Second Chance initiatives which train and encourage employment of those leaving the criminal justice system. Remove unnecessary and burdensome regulatory thresholds to business ownership.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Encourage a marketplace that respects private property, allows consumers to exercise freedom of choice, does not obstruct competition, allow a marketplace to exist where all buyers and sellers have equal access to the same information. Limit the role of government is to ensure that the markets are open and working and that innovation and hard work can be rewarded by consumers.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.
Strongly Agree
Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Get the government out of healthcare. Promote competition in the marketplace through COPN reform and advertisement of prices. Fully enable healthcare cooperatives. Encourage telemedicine. Support free clinics. Seek to restructure the current system which offers only a cadillac level coverage by, for example, allowing RN's and physician's assistants to provide care where appropriate. Promote HSAs Support education on good diet, smoking, sexual activity, etc.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
I support sanctuary cities.
Strongly Disagree
Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.
Strongly Disagree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Any teaching to children on sex education in public schools must include all contraceptive methods, and should not show preference to abstinence.
Strongly Disagree
People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."
Strongly Disagree
Free speech is under attack on public university and college campuses.
Strongly Agree
Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.
Strongly Agree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Psalm 51:5 answers that question. "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." Man is prone to act according to his nature. Government becomes a vehicle for corruption if allowed to operate without adequate controls.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe I was born a sinner. I have repented of my sin and accepted the gift of salvation which became available to all men after Jesus Christ paid the price for for sin. The Bible is the complete and inerrant word of God and should be the ultimate guide of any person who chooses to acknowledge the almighty creator of all.
