OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

Planned Parenthood is the most effective abortion-reducing, abortion-preventing organization that exists.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The Roe v. Wade decision of 1973 provided adequate guidance. All abortions should be legal in every state before fetal viability, i.e., a little longer than the first trimester. After that, all abortions should be allowed to protect the life and health of the woman, including her mental health. States have the legal right to add restrictions the closer the fetus is to 9 months, but in no case should states enact laws that place the right of the fetus to be born above the survival and physical health of the woman.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Agree

The problem with billionaires is that they can easily control our entire political system. That makes our entire government corrupt.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Agree

The war budget should be cut by about 70%. The CIA and the NED should be abolished, which would save billions of dollars a year.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

There should be a wealth tax that would quickly bring the number of billionaires down to zero. The income tax code should be made much more progressive, which means that after an individual earns more than approximately $10 million in any calendar year, all income above $10 million would be taxed at a 90% (marginal) tax rate. It should be impossible for anyone to become a billionaire in the future.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Disagree

It's not at risk at all.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

Total separation between the two, as the Founding Fathers envisioned.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

No circumstances. To require vaccinations violates the Nuremberg Code.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

B. After I beat Andy Barr (R) in November, I will reintroduce the Expanded, Improved Medicare-For-All Act. https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/676/text?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%5B%22Expanded+medicare+for+all+act%22%2C%22Expanded+medicare+for+all+act%22%2C%22Expanded+medicare+for+all+act%22%2C%22Expanded%22%2C%22medicare%22%2C%22for%22%2C%22all%22%2C%22act%22%5D%7D&r=1&s=3

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

D.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Agree

I also support a new BDS campaign against the United States until it closes all of our foreign bases, stops committing international aggression and international terrorism, and brings home all our troops.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Disagree

We are a threat to China, Russia and dozens of other countries, but no country is a real threat to us.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Stop funding, arming and training Islamist and all other terrorists.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Disagree

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Disagree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

All people fleeing persecution in other countries, i.e., all people with legitimate claims to asylum. For non-persecuted refugees, the quotas should be raised. All undocumented immigrants now in the US should be given total amnesty and their path to citizenship should be made much easier.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Agree

Anti-discrimination laws. Use the right legal terms please.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Choose not to answer

I don't believe your characterization of critical race theory is accurate. You're misrepresenting the issue in order to get the answers you want.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Atheist.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Neutral

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

A constitutional amendment to abolish the Electoral College and make all presidential elections nationwide, in order to eliminate the undue influence of large "swing states." All media corporations should be required to give equal air time to all candidates who have qualified to be on the ballot. Make it much easier for 3rd, 4th and 5th parties to get onto all ballots in every state. Strictly prohibit the 2 dominant parties, the RNC and the DNC, from rigging their own primaries. Public funding of all elections and the prohibition of all campaign contributions except from individuals and labor unions. All presidential debates should be sponsored by impartial, nonprofit organizations such as the League of Women Voters. Strict limits on the amount wealthy candidates may spend on their own campaigns. Ranked choice voting in all elections where there are more than two candidates.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Neutral

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Of course it is. If any country were stupid enough to try to invade the USA, people who have been discriminated against would have a strong incentive not to defend our country or even to join the attacking side.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Disagree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

B.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Liberal

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://kykernel.com/47129/features/kentuckys-bernie-sanders-focused-on-party-reform/

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

My top priority is to prevent a nuclear war that will be started by my own government. Every nuclear power except the US and Israel have pledged not to use nuclear weapons unless another country has used them against that country first. 2. End all our illegal, unjust wars and bring all our troops home. 3. Abolish the CIA and the NED. 4. End all economic sanctions against Russia, China, and all other countries and individuals because they are all illegal and counterproductive. 5. Set the precedent that if any president commits international aggression, that president should immediately be impeached and removed from power. 6. Impeach the six corrupt, woman-hating, Constitution-shredding US Supreme Court "justices" who overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision on June 24, 2022; keep the three good justices.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Disagree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I can't think of any. I am a Second Amendment Democrat.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
