QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

No Answer

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Disagree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

During the first trimester. Roe v. Wade was an excellent Supreme Court decision. At any time to save the life of the woman. States have the right to add certain types of restrictions during the second and third trimesters, but the life and health of the woman are paramount.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Agree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

No Answer

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Raise taxes on billionaires and multimillionaires, cut the military budget by 50%, end all of our wars, and bring our troops home.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Wars and weapons, especially nuclear weapons. The US should quit NATO because it is no longer needed. The old USSR disintegrated in 1991.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

I support the cancellation of all student debt. I'm a Tulsi Gabbard / Bernie Sanders Republican.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

No Answer

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

No Answer

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The government should never meddle in matters of religious belief, and churches should not be able to dictate public policies and laws. See the First Amendment.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Agree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Agree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I will reintroduce the old Expanded & Improved Medicare for All Act. For details see https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/676

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Disagree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Stop supporting it. The CIA has been funding, training and supporting radical Islamist terrorists since the 1980s in Afghanistan. The CIA and the US military both supported al Qaeda terrorists in Syria starting in 2011 in order to overthrow the elected government of Syria. When ISIS broke off from al Qaeda, the CIA supported ISIS. I will sign on as a cosponsor of US Rep. Tulsi Gabbard's "Stop Arming Terrorists Act." Also, stop invading countries around the world and overthrowing their governments.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Disagree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Neutral

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Disagree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

No Answer

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Existing international laws answer those questions.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

No Answer

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in the Quaker testimonies of peace, equality, integrity, community and simplicity.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

No Answer

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I didn't answer the last question because I'm conservative on some issues and on the left on other issues. My web site is young4ky.com and it will give voters a good idea of where I stand on the most important issues.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I've been following and studying US foreign policies for the last 40 years, and I have zero faith in the mainstream media corporations' reports on events outside the US. I support the impeachment and conviction of any president who launches a war of aggression, which is the worst war crime it's possible for a country to commit. Recent aggressors & war criminals include Bill Clinton (Serbia & Iraq), Dick Cheney/George W. Bush (Iraq & Afghanistan), Barack Obama (Libya, Syria, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia & Yemen), and Donald Trump (Libya, Syria, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen & Iran). Every one of them should have been impeached & convicted for their massive war crimes, and that's the best reason to impeach Trump today. I opposed the DNC's 2 articles of impeachment because they were based on lies and were without legal merit. I also oppose primary election-rigging by the DNC, and I hope the GOP is more honest about its primaries.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the 2nd Amendment.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Agree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Agree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

No Answer

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Agree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

End all of our wars, under penalty of impeachment if the president refuses. Close all 900 of our military bases outside the US and bring our troops home. Defund the CIA because of all the war crimes it has committed since 1947 and is still committing today, including torture.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is still a big problem in the US.
