The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life/Abortion is a highly personal decision to be made by the people directly involved. Gov't has no place in this decision. Your view on the value/sanctity of life will drive your decisions and actions concerning life and abortion.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Besides the three branches of the federal gov't (that force deliberate governance), there is a sharing of power with the Sovereign States. The states are to address social and economic concerns - Federalists #42 thru #47. The convulsions of The People are best addressed locally, not from a distant federal administration. The needs and attitudes of each state are unique. Power in the same hands/party... tyranny.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My faith informs my personal decisions for my life. I am flawed. Likewise, other people are flawed. Understanding and forgiveness are necessary to live in community. I should not harm others or their property. Others should not harm me or my property. Other people have their natural right to follow their own religion practice. Many nations do not allow this freedom.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

No Answer

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

No public record... yet. I am financially/fiscally conservative - balanced the budget and pay the debt. I am socially liberal - people are free to make most social decisions. As a person in community, I should NOT cause injury to another and should NOT damage or steal the property of others.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you.

Additional comment from candidate:

My responses to some of the above questions are more nuanced, specifically: 2. Life and abortion are best left to the people directly involved. There should be no gov't involvement or funding. 4. The Islamic State is NOT a direct threat to the United States. However, we need to have a visible, strong deterrence. Our foreign entanglements have NOT brought peace or stability - more diplomacy is needed. 6. Amendment I does NOT need legislation to defend it. It stands on its own. 8. Immigration - open borders, but NO federal assistance/handouts 13. The United States is NOT a democracy. It is a Republic. 21. Cannabis should be decriminalized, similar to when Prohibition was ended. Legalization would introduce more gov't bureaucrazy.
