OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Strongly Agree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Disagree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Disagree

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Agree

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Neutral

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Neutral

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Strongly Agree

Libertarians believe that individuals have the right to live as they choose as long as the respect that equal right of others. We support the constitution and property rights. As individuals we should let our consciences lead us. Jury Nullification

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I struggle with many areas of the abortion issue and think more dialog is needed. I've always been troubled by the general perception that pro-lifers usually tended to be pro-war. Now that there is a Democrat in the White House, the liberal anti-war crowd seems to have all but disappeared. I understand that all human life is precious, whether it is a day old or 100 years old, whether it is American, Mexican, Syrian, Russian or Chinese, in the eyes of God we are all the same.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Evil people not only seek power, but are better at acquiring it. Our Constitution has little effect on our present government that spends more energy on subverting it than supporting it. Democrats and Republicans in office only care about themselves, their political party and moneyed friends. They do not represent what is best for America. The U.S. government borrows Trillions of dollars every year and then gives Billions of it away to wealthy nations in foreign aid.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that God, and his son Jesus do exist and active in the world today. I also believe Satan and his followers exist and are active in the world today. I believe most people in this world are basically good, but everyone also has some bad in them. Evil in this world seems to be gaining and I see this played out, not only in the corruption within the U.S. government, but in the growing control of governments over their people and a growing embrace of globalism. When God created mankind, he gave it free will, the power to make one's own choices individually. Evil operates in the opposite, hating free will and promoting and expanding control until everyone is a slave to it. The signs that I see, the event doors that are opening up, lead me to believe we are nearing the final days.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

No Answer

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

Libertarians like me are very conservative, especially with other people's money (tax dollars), yet we are very inclusive and tolerant on most social issues. In 2002 I participated in a political forum and high on the attention of Americans was the question of "should the U.S. invade Iraq". I listened while the Republican Congressman got up and endorsed going to war in Iraq. His Democrat challenger got up at his turn and also endorsed war. When it was my turn I stood and disagreed with the majority of public opinion at that time by saying that it would be immoral and unconstitutional to invade Iraq. In March 2003 the U.S. invaded Iraq and we are still squandering blood and taxpayers money in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East. We have no business in Syria and our regime change attempts there is dragging us toward WW III and possibly Armageddon.

Additional comment from candidate:

We should strengthen our economy by greatly increasing freedom, by reducing taxes, government spending. Reform Obamacare to create free-choice and reduced costs in American health-care through free-market solutions. We should end our failed foreign policy of regime change and endless war. Today the student debt in the U.S. is about 1.6 Trillion dollars. It is strangling family budgets and our national economy. At this time you can finance a car or a home at less than 5% interest, and for the government to continue to charge 10% interest on student loans is not just immoral, it is criminal. I promote three things that would bring fairness back to families struggling with student debt. 1. People should be allowed to restructure their student debt under bankruptcy protection. 2. Interest rate on student debt should not exceed 5%. 3. A student debt loan repayment including all penalties and interest, should never exceed 200 percent of the original loan.
