15. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Our Founders feared government and it's uncontrolled power. They were wise to the history of Nations and Governments over time and saw that governments tend to grow more corrupt and controlling over time, something that they hoped to avoid here in the United States. Please Note: Question 12 spoke of a pure democracy, we have a Constitutional Republic. A pure democracy is four wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

We Americans are losing more and more freedom every year to the constant encroachment of government into our daily lives and pocket books. I strongly defend individual Liberty and will work to restore lost freedoms. Corporate America and the internationals have bought far too much influence in Washington. Our leaders in Washington, both Democrat and Republican care more about the welfare of their special interests than they do for America as a whole. I believe we should end all corporate welfare and review all taxpayer funded expenditures to the military-industrial complex. Taxes are too great a burden in this country. Every dollar government consumes, or wastes, is a dollar taken out of the life blood of our economy. Every government program should have a sunset clause bringing it up for review and renewal.

17. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

Yes

18. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

I personally believe that God is the ultimate authority, but I would never presume to speak for him on any subject, nor would I use the force of government to enforce my vision of his will on other people. The Constitution and Bill of Rights
