Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion:The toughest issue anyone must face. I personally want to see fewer abortions. My campaign is taking a PRO RIGHTS position so we can discuss options that actually lead to fewer abortions, like adoption, and fostering. How can we make these options more accepted, easier to access and less expensive? Why does it have to be either or pro life / pro choice? Government should not be making decisions about what you do with your body. We all know "Prohibition" didn't work in the 1920's and 30's with alcohol, It isn't working with war on drugs. Why do we believe that prohibiting abortion will make it stop? We will only create another dangerous black market. Let us keep those that make their decision, as safe as possible. Stop restricting individual freedom! There are over 3000 children waiting for adoption in Texas, lets clear that list before we start using government force on others. Soon technology may finally make this issue a moot point with the advancement of artificial wombs.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The War spend is $6 Trillion since 2001. We can save right off the top by bring our troops home to protect America. Stop policing the entire World. I would like to pass (HB39) The Federal Sunset Act and use that to reduce the size of government, by Sun setting some redundant and or obsolete federal agencies that gobble up tax payers money!
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
NO circumstance, but I'm not opposed to letting the student loans interest rates dropped to zero. When government interfered in the higher education market by guaranteeing student loans, they actually forced prices higher by artificially increasing demand. Many of these students should have gone to a trade school or into the work force. Getting a degree is a way to success, but it is not the only way!

We are not a theocracy in America, We are a Republic. Everyone's right to practice their religious beliefs are protected by our first amendment rights, but also our natural rights. I don't care what your religious beliefs are as long as you are not hurting people or taking their stuff then to me you are free to practice whatever religion you choose, and the government shouldn't restrict you in anyway!

Why does the laser eye surgery and plastic surgery markets enjoy better technology and lower cost, than the regular medical services? They have to compete for customers; and therefore are more likely to offer advanced technology and services at lower cost to attract customers. I know, some will freak out about wanting to turn all the medical services over to the consumer driven market, but that is exactly what we had before Insurance and Government interfered with the Doctor/ patient relationship, essentially becoming the buyer of services and leaving the patient out of the decision making process for treatment. What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
This question only supports the fear and hate politics that two old parties have used for decades to keep us divided. I don't believe we really have to worry about this. If we would stop interfering with their country, with these wars. We may actually stop the radicalization of our fellow humans against us. Let me address this question: 12. The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military. I put neutral because the best way to maintain peace, as history has proven, is through positive trade relationships. I do believe we should have a strong military to ensure that we can defend ourselves from nefarious actors.

Republicans and Democrats have been saying they were going to fix this for my entire life. I’m 50! I really don't believe they want to fix this issue. They continue to put one band aid over the other making it impossible for those that wish to migrate legally to do so. We need a total reset of our immigration policy.I really would like to see us create welcoming facilities similar to Ellis island. Where people wishing to join the American dream, can do so without fear of having their children separated from them. A facility that can first do a health screening, then a background check, and finally issue a work visa and a way for them to pay taxes. It would be very innovative to have “job recruiters” bid to have on sight offices to assist those that come here without a job in hand to find one! I'm sure we could mitigate some of the cost with competitive bidding opportunities every 4-5 years to keep recruiting efforts, continuous and strong.

Question 27, doesn't really fit because my personal beliefs are Classic Liberal in the vein of Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and John Locke Natural Rights. Individual liberty over government authority. Libertarians cannot be defined in the terms of the two old parties because we crossover on many issues. The difference is we would actually deliver the results we promise. Republicans talk about smaller government spending but delivered the OMNIBUS bill in 2017. Plus The Federal Sunset ACT, (HB39) has exactly ZERO co-sponsors. Democrats talk about civil liberties but the Joe Biden's "tough on crimes bill" works in exact opposition to their rhetoric. The Libertarian Bill to End Qualified immunity has Tri-partisan support, but Pelosi will not let the bill go to the floor for a vote. Send Libertarians to Congress and hold them both accountable. Both teamed up to pass the Patriot act which stomps on our 4th amendment right.

My Name is Kevin Andrew Hale, I'm a lifelong salesman, hopeless romantic and an American, who has had enough of these two old parties! Have you had enough of the "Fear and Hate" politics of the two old parties? The choice of Lesser Evil vs. Lesser Evil is getting really old! Both parties have moved to "Authoritarian" positions, politically speaking.Both have walked away from the principles of Liberty, Tolerance, Freedom and a "Small Limited Government" that the U.S.Constitution lays out.The political conversation in our country needs to change. Given the "Venom" that the two old parties hold for each other and their unwillingness to even work or sometimes speak with each other only demonstrates the need for the third rational voice. We The People need to remind them of their oath to the U.S.Constitution, as they represent us- "WE THE PEOPLE", not corporations who pay for their campaigns. I will represent you! Vote Libertarian! What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
NONE- Shall not be infringed, is clear to me. Why would we ask anyone to give up their right to protect themselves. Especially single moms and women who are often out muscled by male attackers. The gun is a great equalizer that allows her to stay safe. If a person has a history of being criminally violent, or certified mentally unstable then they should not have a gun.

1.Get a vote to end the wars from Congress. It's their enumerated power to declare war and none of the current engagements have a "Declaration of War" from Congress. 2.Co-sponsor and Whip the floor to get (HB39) The Federal Sunset Act, passed so that Congress has another tool it can use to reduce the size of our bloated federal government. Not a Single Republican co sponsor on this bill? I thought they wanted to make government smaller so it will spend less of our taxes. 3. Real criminal justice reform: End Qualified immunity, End No knock Raids, Require 2hrs of De-escalation training for every hour on gun range, and have police and their unions carry liability insurance. End the War on Drugs and focus police resources on crimes with victims like: Theft, Fraud, Assault, Rape and Murder.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is always a threat because it is a cesspool of hate, ignorance and bigotry. We will never truly get racism out of people because of envy, jealousy, and the hate that exist in the hearts and minds of humans. We should however confront it every time we see, or hear it being spewed or displayed. The more we do this the more we educate and hopefully it will be less prevalent. We are all mankind, let's focus on KIND!
