QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
Depending on the student's age and circumstances, schools can help facilitate conversations with the student’s parents or guardians. It's important to provide support for the family unit, offering resources that help families navigate the situation together. The school should be offering counseling, connecting them with trusted healthcare professionals. It also involves providing flexibility in their academic journey so that they don't feel like their education is slipping away while they navigate such a difficult situation.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to refer to students by pronouns which are misaligned with their gender at birth even if it would violate the teacher's moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I believe that government funding for education from pre-K through college is an essential investment in both individuals and society. It creates equitable access, supports social mobility, drives economic progress, and helps ensure a brighter future for everyone. However, it's crucial that this funding be managed efficiently and that the focus remain on improving educational outcomes for all students.

VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Religious beliefs can be highly personal, shaped by family, culture, experiences, and personal reflection. They can also evolve over time as people grow and learn. In societies around the world, religious beliefs play an important role in shaping laws, cultures, and personal identities. The family values can vary widely depending on cultural, religious, and personal beliefs; they generally serve to promote a nurturing environment where family members can grow, support one another, and contribute positively to society.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents are often considered the primary educators when it comes to teaching their children about sexuality, relationships, and values. Parents can begin discussing topics related to body autonomy, respect, and boundaries at a young age, using age-appropriate language.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
I do not support Sex Ed.
