OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

There are no circumstances where abortion should be allowed

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

First and foremost abortion should not be allowed at all. However, if the state allows abortion there should be high safety standards in place for any chemical abortion drugs. In addition, there needs to be reporting and evidence gathering to determine their safety.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Absolutely no way shape or form should taxpayer money be utilized for abortions. And I will never vote for any bill that wants to use taxpayer funds for abortions, planned parenthood or the such.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I feel the minimum wage is set for entry level jobs. States who are wanting or enacting into law to have their minimum wage at $15-$20 is hurting businesses, especially small businesses. This has created a lot of job loss for Americans

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

I absolutely disagree with using this criteria when it comes to public money being invested. The government needs to stop pushing social justice issues on to businesses. These ratings and criteria gives the government too much control and allows the progressive left to push their progressive agenda.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

There is a reason we have a separation of church and state. The government should not have the power to shut down a church. It is unconstitutional for the government to interfere with a person's freedom of religion

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Business and government are two different things. Business owners must be allowed to operate their businesses as they see fit within the labor laws. Plus if it violates the moral and religious beliefs of the business owners, isn't that violating the business owner's rights

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I feel people have a right to determine what is best for their healthcare. People should have a right to choose the healthcare providers and the healthcare insurance that is best for them. Medicare and medicaid does still need to remain available for those who need it. But as I stated, everyone should have the right to choose the insurance best for them.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances should the government, schools or employers be allowed to force students or employees to get vaccinated. People should have the right to determine what is best for them for their healthcare

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

When I took the National Security course back in 2015 I had to write a paper on who was the biggest threat to the US and mine was China. China poses a very serious threat to the US. We need to ensure strategic measures to keep our nation safe from the threats of China. We need to not allow China to purchase land here especially near military base in which they are currently doing.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

I believe the relationship between the US and Israel is very important. Israel is the only democratic state in the Middle East region and it is strategically important for the US to maintain that relationship.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People who want to provide a better life for themselves and their family as well as wanting to be a productive member of our society. They must be thoroughly vetted and enter use the proper immigration process.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

I am a big supporter of school choice. Parents should have the right to choose where and how their children are educated. We need to invest in our student, our children and not institutions.

VALUES

Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.

Strongly Agree

Our children must be protected. Sexually explicit material has no place in our school or libraries especially those funded with taxpayer dollars

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

The indoctrination of our children has gotten out of hand during this Biden administration. Children do not have the mental development to decide what is right or wrong when it comes to gender ideology. Social issues like this have no place in our schools and bodily mutilation of our children needs to be outlawed.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

As a parent, our children are our responsibility and no government, healthcare or school system has the right to override the rights of the parents.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Gender transition is not healthcare. Taxpayer funds should never be used for transition services.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I have strong family values. I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I believe is a strong family nucleus

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voter ID needs to be required for everyone voting. There's always that argument that not everyone can get a drivers license; however, everyone can still get a government issued ID. We have to make sure that all those who vote are a legal citizen.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I'm not gonna say that racism doesn't exist; however, the biggest threat to domestic security is the progressive left continuing to push division in this country.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

This is another divisive program that the progressive left pushes to continue to divide the nation.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

This goes without question. There are only 2 genders, male and female. Women in sports are competing for scholarships and allowing biological males to play in women's sports takes away those opportunities. In addition, it becomes a safety concern because males are biologically built different. There have been several examples where girls got significantly injured competing with a biological male in a sport. We need to protect our women and not allow biological males to occupy women's spaces

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

I believe that strict environmental laws and regulations not only cost thousands of jobs but it hurts energy production which in-turn is disastrous for our economy. We need to do everything we can to be energy independent

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

There's no question that coal and natural gas is the most reliable energy.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The government is to provide safety and security for its citizens. In addition, our elected officials obligation and responsibility is to conduct the will of The People

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

Please express your views on the 2nd Amendment.

The constitution says it all. The right for people to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT be infringed. We must continue to preserve our right for law abiding citizens to bear arms

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
