Taxpayer dollars should not subsidize abortion providers. Americans should not be forced to support organizations that violate deeply held moral or religious beliefs. Public funds should instead support community health centers that provide cancer screenings, prenatal care, vaccinations, and primary care without performing abortions.

Elective abortion should not be allowed. The only exception should be a rare medical emergency in which the mother’s life is endangered and the unborn child is unlikely to survive if the mother dies.

All laws should be enforced. We are a nation of laws, and selective enforcement is a dangerous path. Tot he extent the Comstock Act bans interstate transport of abortifacients, it should be enforced.

They should be eliminated. Set minimum wages can eliminate entry-level jobs, raise prices, and disproportionately harm rural communities and small businesses. Wages are best driven by competition, productivity, and a strong economy.

Free enterprise and private property are foundations of liberty and prosperity. The Founders understood that citizens must be free to work, invest, trade, and keep the fruits of their labor. Government should protect property rights, enforce contracts, and prevent fraud, not control markets or choose winners and losers.

“Separation of church and state” means government may not establish an official religion or coerce religious belief. It does not require hostility toward faith or exclude religious principles from public life. Our nation was formed upon Judeo-Christian moral principles, and as John Adams warned, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People.” Government should protect religious liberty while recognizing that faith and virtue are essential to self-government.

Serving the public should not require surrendering First Amendment rights. In Masterpiece Cakeshop, the Supreme Court rejected Colorado’s hostility toward religious belief. In 303 Creative, it ruled Colorado could not compel a designer to create messages she opposed. Government must protect dignity without forcing citizens to speak, create, or endorse messages that violate their conscience.

C most closely reflects my view. Medicare and Medicaid provide an essential safety net for seniors, low-income families, people with disabilities, and others unable to protect or provide for themselves. Government should preserve these programs while preventing waste and abuse—not replace private insurance, personal choice, or the doctor-patient relationship.

Government should never maintain a database identifying individuals by their ongoing medical conditions. The cost of treatment has no bearing on the value of a human life. However, anonymized, non-identifiable data should be collected to assess treatment costs, study disease patterns, support research, and prepare effective public-health responses while protecting personal privacy.

Sanctuary policies undermine the rule of law and obstruct the federal government’s constitutional authority to enforce immigration laws and secure our borders. States and local governments should cooperate with lawful federal enforcement, not shield individuals from it. A sovereign nation must control who enters and remains within its borders. We also cannot sustain a strong social safety net when illegal immigration is uncontrolled and taxpayers are expected to absorb unlimited costs.

I strongly support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and returning authority to states, communities, parents, and teachers. Since the department began operating in 1980, student achievement has failed to justify expanding federal control; long-term reading performance has largely stagnated, while recent national reading and mathematics scores have fallen sharply. Education decisions belong closest to the children they affect, not with bureaucrats in Washington.

Schools must be transparent, keep parents informed, and work in partnership with families. Government should intervene only in genuine cases of abuse or neglect, not undermine responsible parents. I disagree with expanding gambling, particularly when government promotes it as a source of revenue. Gambling can carry serious social and financial consequences. However, beyond preventing fraud, abuse, exploitation, and access by minors, government should have little role in dictating how responsible adults spend their own time and money.

I am a devoted Christian, and my faith provides the moral foundation for how I live, serve, and govern. Same-day, in-person voting with photo identification should be the standard, with absentee ballots reserved for limited and legitimate circumstances. Secure elections protect every voter by preventing fraud, error, and dilution of valid ballots.

Slavery was a grave evil practiced across races and nations, but today’s citizens should not be charged or compensated for their ancestry. Allowing biological males into women’s sports and sex-separated spaces is antithetical to genuine women’s rights and equality. Fair competition, privacy, dignity, and safety require preserving female-only athletic teams, bathrooms, locker rooms, sororities, shelters, and correctional facilities. Compassion for every individual does not require erasing biological reality or sacrificing protections generations of women fought to secure.

I reject this statement as written. Climate has always changed, but that does not make every tax, mandate, or restriction necessary. Too often, “political action” means speeches, higher costs, and more bureaucracy with little measurable progress. Colorado has pursued aggressive climate policies yet still missed its emissions target. We need affordable, reliable energy, innovation, and practical conservation; not fear-driven mandates that burden families and businesses.

Resource-rich Colorado should prioritize natural gas for dependable, affordable power. We should welcome nuclear technologies, including small modular reactors, as reliable, emissions-free power as it becomes available.

Sharia law is incompatible with American jurisprudence wherever it conflicts with equal protection, due process, individual liberty, religious freedom, or the separation of religious and civil authority. Muslims, like all Americans, are free to practice their faith, but no religious doctrine should be incorporated into or supersede our constitutional legal system.

None beyond enforcing laws against those who misuse firearms. The true threat to public safety is evil intent and the willingness of criminals to disregard the law, not the tool itself. Restricting lawful citizens does not disarm violent offenders. The Second Amendment protects the individual right of self-defense and reflects the Founders’ belief that an armed citizenry is the ultimate safeguard against tyranny.
