Any organization that contracts with abortion providers should also be banned from receiving public funds. Government should never be an accomplice to murder, but rather an authority that ensures human life is protected. Abortion mills should be shut down rather than supported by tax dollars.

Never. Life begins at conception, and we must ensure that all innocent human life, born and preborn is protected. Adding any exceptions to the ban on abortion would demean the sanctity of life for political convenience.

The free market is the bedrock of development, and property rights are a basic essential to prosperity. The market establishes the division of labor and the prosperity it derives. Without economic freedom, families are dependent upon government, which can take anything it gives. Government control ultimately stifles the entrepreneurial, causes collapses, shortages, and recessions, and renders a people destitute. We should look to Ludwig Von Mises' economic principles when making policy.

I am against minimum wage as it precludes people from working if they are unable to find an employer who will pay them for their labor, but not as much as the government demands they pay. Minimum wage laws are anticompetitive and anti-market.

I primary cosponsored the bill to ban taxpayer-funded lobbying, and will continue to fight for this principle until it is law. Taxpayer-funded lobbying is compelled speech, creates an uneven playing field, and is a corrupt practice that must end.

1. Establish a Taxpayer Bill of Rights that puts all tax increases and new taxes on the ballot explaining where the money will go so the people can decide whether the spending is needed or wasteful 2. Eliminate unnecessary and overburdensome regulations that cost the taxpayer and harm the market. 3. Eliminate corporate handouts that distort the free market and picks winners and losers. 4. Eliminate Executive Branch Lawmaking 5. Establish Kentucky DOGE to constantly monitor for waste.

It's is an often-misused phrase. Separation of church and state primarily means that government should never infringe upon the free exercise of religion. America is a faithful people, and our Heritage reflects a devotion to Christ. All this phrase (that isn't in the Constitution), all the Establishment Clause did was prohibit the implementation of an official state denomination and coercion into adopting faith. Big government is a threat to liberty. Faith is a guarantor of liberty.

I took an oath to the Constitution, which includes the First Amendment freedom of association. Compelled violation of one's moral and religious beliefs is constitutionally unacceptable.

C/D. Medicaid/Medicare need to remain in some form as there are people who genuinely need help and cannot work. But the Obamacare and Medicare Part D expansions were expansions of government that's ultimately driving up healthcare prices. We need to draw back government involvement in medicine if we want to lower prices, but we need to keep medicare available for the elderly and medicaid for the indigent who are genuinely not able to work. We must further confront fraud in this system.

I understand the motive, but I have significant concerns about this breaching the right of medical privacy. A free market approach to healthcare would alleviate any need for such economic impact analyses that further risk taking us closer to Britain's system where people (including infants like Charlie Gard)with treatable illnesses are denied care because of the cost to taxpayers when those people's lives matter too. We should wean off of government healthcare, as this becomes a consequence.

Israel has a right to exist and defend itself. I further support a strategic partnership with Israel to the extent it serves American interests. I do, however, take issue with foreign aid (this applies to all nations). And I believe that all American foreign relations should be examined through the lens of whether the relationship benefits Americans first and foremost. Israel's relationship with the US is a net gain, so it is important.

I introduced bans on sanctuary cities and universities in Kentucky and a ban on in-state tuition for illegal immigrants, and commend the Trump Administration for suing Andy Beshear for continuing this illegal practice of offering in-state tuition for illegals after my bill to eliminate this practice did not move on time in the 2025 session. A nation without borders is not a nation.

America First must be a principle in the classroom. America's future should not face the risk of foreign influence in our education system.

I am a born again Christian. I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. I believe the scripture is the inspired word of God. I believe we are a fallen species and in need of a Savior; and that that Savior came to the world in the form of Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus walked the Earth, was crucified, and rose from the dead three days later so that we, human beings, may follow his path, and through Christ, be saved eternally. As for worldly matters, I believe the foundation of prosperity is Faith, Family, and Freedom. I believe we need limited government, with an absolute adherence to the US Constitution, in order for us to have a just society. I further believe that strong families and churches keep government small.

Obergefell was wrongly decided. The government institution of marriage, when defined in any way other than the way defined above, ultimately becomes a government encroachment on what is fundamentally a religious institution. Marriage was handed down to humanity by God.

Parents, not government, know what is best for their children. The US Supreme Court has recognized this basic right since the early 20th Century, and states must take action to defend the family. We have over a millenium of objective proof that the nuclear family, in which parents are in charge of their children, backed by the church, is the single greatest means by which society can be organized. We need to restore Parents to their position of natural, God-given authority over their children.

We do not affirm falsehoods or any other mental illnesses in our society as such affirmation is abuse. These practices are irreversible, traumatizing, and compels a child to deal with permanent consequences an adult should not even make. I fought to ban gender mutilation of minors before even taking office, and will continue to fight against woke ideologies from hijacking the lives of children. Any philosophy that leads children to falsehoods is twisted and should be opposed.

The Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment prohibits treating one race differently from another in the United States. No one is guilty of an offense simply because of their race, and no one is entitled to a benefit simply because of their race.

My sister was a student athlete from Elementary School through College, so this is personal to me. Men do not belong in girls' sports or girls' spaces. As I mentioned before, gender dysphoria is something that should be treated, not affirmed. This is especially so in the area prompted here. Sometimes, this isn't even someone with gender dysphoria, but a man seeking to exploit women by invading their spaces. It is indefensible to allow men in any of these spaces.

Fossil Fuels are easily the most reliable energy source. I support a free market approach allowing alternative energy sources, but any effort to debase the US from Fossil Fuels is nonsensical. Alex Epstein covers this in Fossil Future terrifically.

We are in an energy crisis largely because we have a federal government that buys the myth that climate change is an existential threat and uses regulation as a bludgeoning tool against workers and independence. I support natural beauty, but regulation is overwhelmingly not the pathway toward protecting it. It only lets foreign nations (who pollute far more than we do) control us through indirect means, costs jobs, and hurts America in the long run.

At base, I am a constitutional conservative that believes the government that governs best is the government that governs least. I believe we should never bear false witness, so my oath to the US and Kentucky Constitution is something that binds my policies where the only voting record I can morally have is a very conservative voting record. In my legislative service, my legislative record reflects these values.

The goal of the criminal justice system is to rehabilitate society from an encounter with a criminal. Criminal justice is meant to do ensure victims receive justice and that criminals are deterred from committing offenses against their fellow human beings in the first place. This principle is why I primary cosponsored Logan's Law to ensure child killers are not released onto our streets like what happened last year.

The Founding Fathers codified the Fourth Amendment for a reason, and we should follow the Fourth Amendment as originally understood, which secured the people from warrantless searches without probable cause. Most Kentuckians are innocent citizens who have committed no crime, but mass surveillance and automated enforcement makes a suspect of us all and degrades the core values of our Constitution.

All gun laws are infringements on the Second Amendment, and I have spent years fighting for the Second Amendment, whether that be through the National Association for Gun Rights or facilitating Second Amendment Sanctuary County Ordinances in KY. Anyone who would follow gun laws are not the people we need to worry about, and the people about whom we should worry will never follow a gun law.
