QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Having served on the board of the Stockton Pregnancy Help Center for more than a decade, I am committed to helping women choose to keep their unborn babies.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I have a heart of compassion for any woman who finds herself in the life changing circumstances of an unplanned pregnancy. Life changing does not supersede the killing of an innocent child whose DNA is completely formed at the moment of conception. Only in cases of the physical health of the mother, and only as a last option, should an elective abortion be allowed.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Disagree
There are millions of pro-life taxpayers who should not be responsible for paying for abortions through their tax dollars..
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
We are not truly free if the government can reign supreme over enterprise or private property. No one should be able to lose their property due to tax liens.
People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
We have an over bloated unaccountable bureaucracy where fraud and graft are commonplace. NGO's receive federal dollars and little to no accounting on how the money is spent.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
1. Stop Funding NGO's 2. Eliminate "No Bid" contracts for government jobs and procurement. 3. Spend minimal dollars overseas where we have zero accountability as to how the money is spent.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state is not found in our Constitution. The original intent was to not allow a state church, but freedom to worship and serve GOD in the name of religion. Some of the first acts of Congress were to have Bibles printed and to pay for salaries of clergy in remote areas. "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." — President John Adams
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
We do not have an healthcare system, we have a disease management system. Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but with their eventually being phased out. So I believe C) but eventually D). In the current system the insurance companies and the Medical Industrial Complex make billions of dollars per year, meanwhile much of the middle class is bankrupted by insurance premiums and medical expenses.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
A government big enough to meet all your needs is big enough to take everything away. The government should know little to nothing about our privacy, medical or otherwise, but we should know every detail of our government.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
There is a degree of keeping peace through strength, but we need to focus on protecting our Constitutional Republic from tyranny. I lean towards C), but fully realize it is not a cut and dried issue. Sometimes our foreign involvement is ultimately for our protection, but often it is used to exert control.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
To a degree our relationship with Israel is important because it has historically been the only nation in the Middle East who did not wish for our destruction. At the same time Israel could easily lead us into never ending wars.
Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I think there should be a moratorium on nearly all immigration until we can successfully deal with the millions of illegal immigrants who entered this country during the Biden Administration. Then we should allow the best and brightest who will assimilate into this country.
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Bible believing, spirit filled Christian. I serve on the Elder Board of my local church and have been actively involved in numerous para-church ministries.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Only citizens should be allowed to vote in our elections, photo ID should be required and one day elections only.
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
My career was founded on building champions in athletic; college, pro and high school. Though I had some outstanding world class female athletes I did not have any who could have successfully competed with males.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
The most reliable energy for our rapidly growing demand for electricity is modular nuclear power. When our naval fleet is in San Diego, there are more nuclear power plants in San Diego than the rest of the entire nation.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
NO!
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
NO!
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I am a Constitutional Conservative with a strong Biblical World View!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
The government has a role in protecting all of citizens, but we cannot neglect the role parents should play in protecting their own children.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I have an "A" rating from the California Rifle and Pistol Association..The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed.
