MEDICAL FREEDOM CAUCUS

OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I support a person's right to make all their own medical decisions. I would not vote against PA's current abortion laws. If we all try a little bit harder and doa better job of parenting. We can raise our children to be more responsible and better adults. This in turn will lower abortion numbers across the state.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

All drugs need to be tested for safety and side effects. If a drug has adverse side effects they need to be to the FDA's MedWatch program.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Neutral

Planned parenthood can be a good source of education toward responsibility. Our young adults need an education on the consequences of a night of fun.I understand nothing is 100 percent fail safe and mistakes happen. If we can lower those mistakes through education. I'm all for it.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Agree

This falls inline with my stance on medical freedom. If someone chooses to end the suffering. It should be done safe and legally.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree with a persons property rights as long as they don't harm others peace and safety. So many towns have laws against people growing their own food or what they can do in their stores. We need to end government overreach on people's property.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

It's rather low in PA. As of July 1 it is $7.25.HR.. If a person does a little leg work. They can find a job starting @ &15.00 HR. Many big box stores offer more. Let the market decide a price. Don't work for someone offering less than $15.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Yes

Great question. We can save tons of money by not investing in bombs and the war machine. Take that money and build hospitals and schools. Happy people won't fight.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

I support peoples freedom of religion. Churches and houses of worship should only be closed. If they are abusing people or a public nuisance.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Many business owners start a business to make themselves happy. Forcing them to work against their moral or religious beliefs is wrong. It's a choice they made. If the go out of business from these choices so be it. Customers can choose a friendlier place to shop.Don't give your hard earned money to someone that dislikes you.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I Support an open market with competition on pricing. I also feel there is a need for Medicaid and medicare for those that qualify.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None! This goes against my stance on medical freedom.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. The US. needs a strong ally in that region. I support Israel's right to defend themselves. I would like to see them tone it down a bit. They need to be more tactical at this point.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Our southern border is a sieve. Anyone can just walk through. We have no idea who has entered or what they brought with them. Our system is being overwhelmed. we need to slow entries down and document entrance. By getting a handle on who enters. We can get them into the system and start the process towards citizenship. I support legal immigration. My wife is an immigrant that came here legally.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

Our children are our future. The better their education the better PA becomes. Every child should have the chance to attend a school where they will thrive. With some many school options out there now. Kids have the chance to find the best option to succeed. As long as these schools don't refuse a child. There should be no reason not to let the funding follow that child. We already send money to cyber charter schools. Why not send it to other brick and mortar schools?

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Agree

We force children to grow up to fast.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

No doctor or teacher should hide medical advise from a parent or guardian.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Disagree

Our government should be out of marriages. If you love someone get married. 100's of people a day want to make you unhappy. When you find the one that makes you happy. It's best to stay with that one. We should do away with the marriage license.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Many people need a higher a higher authority to believe in. By speaking to that authority. It takes them to a happy place.Happy people do better in life. Some need to follow the rules or teaching of a religion. This helps them stay on the straight and narrow. I believe in letting people believe in what they want. As long as they don't try to push it on others. Values.Don't hurt people be nice and don't take peoples stuff. simple.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

We need to insure one person one vote. It's 2024 everyone should have an ID by now.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

This is a federal issue. If we end up with a strong third party. Something will need to change.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. I have believe in mankind. We are better than attacking our fellow citizens over skin color. We may find a few fools in the group that will fight over something petty. as a whole no our population wont go into civil war leading to a breakdown of society.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Neutral

We need to pick employees the same way sports teams pick a player. The best person available at the time. Regardless of skin color

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Males should not be in female competitions or locker rooms. Biological women need to feel safe in locker room setting. I would vote to protect women's sports by keeping it free of biological males.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

My answer is "c" We need to work towards finding a solution that fits all the needs. Clean, safe, and cheap. We should first start by using less energy. So often you'll see one person riding alone in their large SUV or a house with 30 lights shinning on trees. It's real simple to use less.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Not sure that we will ever find a reliable source to supply all our needs. I said above we need to use less. Everyone can start with one less light on. With population numbers growing we will see greater need for more energy. Develop tidal energy.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

no

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

no

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Main role of the government is to keep us safe.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

I feel we should just let people be and end government overreach.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

There probably is some fat we could cut from all budgets. I do not believe in "Defund the police" I do believe in a better education for the police and getting rid of qualified immunity. This would help with removing bad apples.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. We have enough laws now. Enforce the ones on the books. I support legal and safe gun ownership.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

No

We don't want to put that burden on our teachers.
