QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
It is the responsibility of county government to provide subsidized housing at taxpayer expense.
Strongly Disagree
I support using taxpayer funds to lobby the state legislature and/or U.S. Congress.
Strongly Disagree
Property taxes should be abolished.
Strongly Agree
Taxes on property that is not in the stream of commerce are immoral and should be abolished. Property taxes should only be imposed at the point of sale.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Government should not discriminate against individuals, organizations, or business owners who affirm marriage as between one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
County officials should have the right to proclaim their county a sanctuary county for illegal aliens.
Strongly Disagree
While I do believe in the Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate, local officials do not have the right to ignore and usurp state and federal law regarding immigration.
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again Christian. I lived my life as a cultural Christian, a false believer, until November 22, 2018, when Christ gave me a radical regeneration of the heart experience. Recognizing the God is Sovereign, and all law comes from Him, informs how I try to live my life.
Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.
Strongly Agree
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
All filings by candidates for municipal office, including ballot application and campaign finance reports, should be available for public online access on the county website within 24 hours of filing deadline.
Strongly Agree
Ballot measures which include bond issues should fully disclose both the potential tax rate increase and actual monetary increase for the average single family residence.
Strongly Agree
This is a huge issue for my campaign as a County Commissioner. Bonds overwhelmingly pass every time they are on the ballot in Wake County. I believe most voters are unaware of the tax rate and future costs to residents of the County.
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) instruction should be required for all county employees.
Strongly Disagree
DEI is immoral and destroys everything it touches.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Taxpayers should subsidize green initiatives such as electric vehicle charging stations.
Strongly Disagree
