QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Agree
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
School districts should be able to use taxpayer money for lobbying the state legislature.
Strongly Disagree
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I agree that government funding should be used to supplement the education for students through college. However, I also believe that the employers and businesses which will benefit from the post secondary training and education should share in their funding. This can be done through offering more robust internship or cooperative education programs which will pay a portion of the students tuition in exchange for employment/services during the summer, winter, and/or spring break periods and the internship period of the student. Additionally, for every specified amount of money paid by the employer, the student would give a year of paid service to the organization. This is win win proposal as the company has a new employee who has been trained and is familiar with he edicts of the company and the student graduates debt free, with guaranteed employment in his chosen career field. To incentivize this idea, we can offer tax breaks to the employers who participate in the program.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.
Strongly Agree
Freedom of speech should be comprehensive and collective. If students are able to speak freely about issues which may be considered lewd and vulgar by some, they should also be able to express the profession of their faith as long as they are not disruptive to the educational process of the other students.
School districts should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
If schools are not allowed to discriminate against organizations which embrace the LGBTQIA agenda they should be given the same deference for organizations which believe in traditional marriage.
Students should not be allowed to pray in school.
Strongly Disagree
With the onslaught of violence in our schools, some districts are creating and implementing policies which will allow teachers and other school staff to bring guns on campus. If staff can bring guns, students should be allowed to invoke the presence of God in their schools.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
To protect the individual student/employee and the other staff who are in the institution. Persons who chose not to be vaccinated should be given the option to work remotely or be tested regularly to monitor any contagion and protect the staff at the facility.
EDUCATION
When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?
When threatening or spewing vulgarities and/or obscenities at the members of the board or the staff.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): Mathematics, Information Technology, Science, Political Activism, Personal Finances, Gender Identity, Physical Fitness, American History, Critical Race Theory, Language Arts, Art & Music, Vocational Learning, Sexuality, Foreign Language, Social Emotional Learning
Mathematics, Language Arts, Personal Finances, Science, Information Technology, American History, Social Studies, Vocational Learning, Physical Fitness, Arts and Music, Foreign Language, Social Emotional Learning . If American History is taught properly, it will cover the racial, social, and other challenges we experienced in our evolution into becoming a country. Additionally, gender identity and sexuality are values based subjects and should be left to the parents. Schools should only create environments where all students are honored, accepted, and affirmed based upon the values taught to them by their parents and/or guardians.
American civics education should emphasize our nation's founding principles of liberty and equality.
Strongly Agree
Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.
Strongly Agree
The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.
Strongly Agree
I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.
Agree
Slavery is a part of American History just as the American Revolution, Boston Tea Party, etc. These curricula do NOT embrace slavery as the foundation of American History but they do highlight their role in the formation of our country. The slave trade gave America free labor and capital which created the infrastructure of this country including the nations capital. Our students should learn about the role of slavery in the genesis of our country.
Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.
Strongly Agree
In mental health they use a concept called" money follows the person", which has worked well in accessing resources for the consumers of those services, In education we should have money follows the student where your dollars are used at your placement for your student..
What is the function of the local school board?
To serve as stewards of the human, fiscal physical, and ideological capital in which it has been entrusted by their respective community.
Do you support the National School Board Association's characterization of parents who speak out at school board meetings as "domestic terrorists"?
No
Who should have the authority to set curriculum and determine resources used in those curricula?
Parents in close collaboration with the educators, employers, and other stakeholders in the community
Who has the ultimate right to control the education of children in public schools? (a) parents (b) teachers (c)school boards.
Parents they are the only persons entrusted with the obligation to "train up a child". The systems which provide the service should do so at the behest of the parents who reside in that community.
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Trinitarian who believes in God the Father, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Triune Godhead three separate and distinct beings acting as one entity. I believe that God the father created the heavens and earth in six days. He created man in HIS image and endued us with authority and power similar to that which he has in heaven. believe in the deity of Jesus the Christ as the Savior of the world. I believe that he was born through Immaculate Conception, performed miracles, was crucified, died, was resurrected, and is coming again for those who have accepted him as their Lord and Savior. I believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by speaking in tongues as indicated in Acts 2:4. I believe the Holy Spirit gives you power to do exploits and great works for the Lord. I believe we should love everybody irrespective of our perspective of the lifestyle or life decisions because God is the ultimate judge. Solomon states in the book of Ecclesiastes " Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter, Fear God and keep his commandments for God SHALL bring every work into judgement whether it be good or evil" We are obligated to "love" God is obligated to "judge" As a believer, I am going to stay in my lane. . .
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Until their is a surgery or medical procedure to change DNA, assigned males and assigned females are different. It is not fair for persons to compete using their identified gender while they still possess the DNA of their assigned gender
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- Physical and emotional health outcomes; contraceptive methods; consent; abstinence; sexual orientation and gender identity; human anatomy/the reproductive system; abortion methods and side effects; stages of pregnancy and fetal development; sex acts and pleasures of sex
sexual education is the parents responsibility. If they feel uncomfortable or inept at teaching this they should seek out a therapist, or other professionally trained person to do such. Schools should focus on reading, writing, arithmetic, and respect and parents are responsible for values based educational services.
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
Disagree
No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent.
Strongly Agree
No school official should be involved in the sexual transitioning of a student, including the use of alternative names and pronouns.
Disagree
If the parent has made that request and is aware and in agreement with the student who is in transition then I that should be respected. However, schools should not do anything to encourage or discourage a childs' sexual identity, and if a student discloses a sexual preference, the student should be prompted to disclose that information with the parent and the parent should decide how the school should accommodate the student.
EQUALITY
I support the teaching that an individual, solely by virtue of his or her race, is inherently racist, whether consciously or unconsciously.
Strongly Agree
Racism and Bigotry are verbs more than adjectives. I know who you are and what you believe by what you do not what you say. Students should be taught that persons are bigots and racist based upon their actions not their visage.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
NO
A candidate's personal moral values should not be relevant when considering a candidacy for elective office.
Strongly Disagree
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Lean Conservative

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Under what circumstances (if any) should schools be allowed to require vaccinations?
