QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

when it functions as self-defense to save the physical life of the mother.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Disagree

Transportation of drugs themselves should not be illegal.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Minimum wage laws are a violation of the right to work, contribute towards the rising of prices for everything, and should be abolished along with all other wage and price controls.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

#1 priority is reducing government spending across the board and repealing laws and regulations that violate the freedom of Texans. That eliminates a ton of waste within itself, but additional steps can be taken to reduce administrative waste in even necessary departments.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It's a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson, which does explicitly appear in the Constitution. But the First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion and prohibits the establishment of a state religion, and I fully support the First Amendment.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No one should be required to provide services period.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

D

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

The government should not keep a database of people.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

It is important from a diplomatic standpoint, in effort to have good relations with other nations, but the US should not send taxpayer money to Israel.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Disagree

Sanctuary policies are a legitimate exercise of local sovereignty when they simply mean "we refuse to enforce federal rules with local tax dollars." They become unnecessary government overreach when local politicians use them to expand municipal welfare, increase local spending, or shield violent offenders from due process.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Disagree

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Despite my agreement with this as a moral question, I do not support replacing parental judgment with state mandates. Beyond protecting minors from irreversible physical harm, the state must stay out of private family life, speech, and personal morality.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Similar to the last question, my personal viewpoint should not be enforced by the state. No government should be defining personal relationships and marriages or other unions should not require a government license.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Agree

Again, I don't support government subsidies for private business, including the gambling industry but I do support repealing laws that restrict gambling business from being transacted among consenting adults.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian who believes in loving my neighbor as myself. All my values stem from that fundamental belief in loving and respecting my fellow human beings and I fully support each individual person's freedom to make their own decisions and form their own beliefs as long as they do not cause harm to others.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Agree

With a government returned to its core constitutional duties, we would not need to force citizens to carry invasive state tracking IDs to exercise their rights. Instead, we could provide secure, single-purpose voter registration cards—technologically verified at the precinct level to ensure voters participate in their correct district and vote only once. That safeguards election integrity without turning poll workers into identity police or compromising private civil liberties.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

All human beings should be treated equally under the law regardless of family history or ethnic background.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Agree

For government institutions, yes, but private companies and entities should be able to set their own rules in these matters.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

Government regulation is not the answer to climate change. Instead, we should incentive private sector innovation and property rights to find sustainable solutions, reducing the federal role and promoting individual and market-based efforts.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

No single energy technology is a silver bullet for meeting rapidly growing electricity demand, and protecting taxpayers requires a free market that encourages private capital investment in reliable, dispatchable power.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Liberal

Classical liberal, which means I support all of your freedoms - personal and economic, not the "progressive" big-government viewpoint that has been labeled "liberal" in more recent years.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system is protecting individual rights and delivering justice to real victims—not prosecuting victimless behavior or enforcing government control. First, we must repeal victimless crime laws to focus law enforcement strictly on violent crime, theft, and fraud. Second, the system must shift from state revenue extraction to direct restitution for victims. Finally, we must enforce strict due process to hold government actors accountable when rights are violated.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Agree

Government has a clear responsibility to defend children from online predators and exploitation, but it must do so by prosecuting criminals and empowering parents—not by dismantling online privacy and civil liberties for everyone else.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

This is covered in the earlier answer about the First Amendment. No establishment of religion, but laws that treat everyone equally, respecting people's rights to believe how they wish.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We do not need more restrictions on peaceful gun owners—we need to eliminate statutory restrictions that infringe on the natural right of self-defense.
