RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Abortion is not a solution to a moment of possible regret. And to be clear. I don't consider a life threating situation to the mother where the baby had to be taken an abortion. I consider it a medical procedure to save the life of the mother and hopefully the baby's life. I know the scary feeling of having a baby in the best circumstances but I thank God everyday for the blessings I was lucky to receive and now in current times the blessings continue with grandkids.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
There are many health factors as to why its best to get a consult. A person may not know how far along you are and if it was done right which could lead to a medical emergency.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Disagree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
However I do think we should keep them as comfortable, through drugs and what ever other means are availale.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I think it should be up to the business owner, it's a personal choice to work where we want and for how much. However as a state recruiting businesses, they should recruit business that will employee the working class with good pay and benefits.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
The government cannot regulate peoples emotions and reactions to their environment. Trying to set standards and judge companies in our diverse country is restrictive and discriminatory.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
A free economy gives access to everyone to receive services. However it may be disappointing that people in 2024 still suffer from hate in their heart.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
B. I suppose out of the options. Wyoming does need more option however because Wyoming doesn't have medicaid expansion many can qualify for obama care with rebate that can get people insurance at an affordable rate.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
besides that basics that have been proven over decades there shouldn't be a requirement. especially for those situations with no clarity.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
I also believe we need to hold American's who bring the CCP to Wyoming and/or our country accountable for selling out their state and country.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, we cannot allow terrorist to control that area of the world or any part of the world. It's the stand they are taking towards terrorist that matter.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Those seeking entry to the United States the legal way, from their place of origin.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Agree
If the public schools cannot get the children educated and prepared for the world to an extent then yes of course we need to do what is best for the children.
VALUES
Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.
Strongly Disagree
It is basic common sense, we have ratings for movies and music, so why not books. Since the beginning we've always protected children from adult issues. What Changed? Values. The not my business not my problem has left the door open for bad people to take advantage because your not looking.
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Disagree
Everyone agrees that the teenage years are the worse part of growing up, hormones changing, friends changing, it's difficult. It's not a time for kids to make such a decisions, only to regret it later.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Agree
Yes they should with excepts to bodily harm.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Instead of a surgery that will make a person a lifetime victim to big pharma, I don't believe tax payers money should fund this for life. It's a personal decision to take these measures. If we can teach self love and acceptance the world would be a better place.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
My beliefs are for myself and do not reflect my view on governments role. A union between 2 people is their choice. I believe a happy home is a good home. We have many children that need good homes, that need the love so they can love themselves.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a practicing Christian. I believe in Jesus and I treat people accordingly. Jesus doesn't tell us to judge others but to treat everyone as we want to be treated. He also tells us what we need to do to get to heaven. I'm hoping he sees my progress. I'm not perfect and work everyday to be a better person. God has put me here today and I'm just going with his flow.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
No I don't think so. I believe this to be one of the most important thing we can do as Americans. and the only way to secure that is with an id.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
Nope, states are different, their cultures and way of life are different. The electoral colleges helps keep Wyoming from turning into California.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism through DEI is a threat. We are teaching segregation under the pretense of making up for inequality. There are racists out there in the world, but the new age of racism DEI is the real threat to the United States.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is completely backwards to what we want in the world. These new generations of children have nothing to do with the past. It is dangerous and is already proving it doesn't work, people are more divided now than ever. The only people with privilege are Americans and that's why I proud to be one.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
I understand people want to be whatever they want to be. However that doesn't give them the right or privilege to invade a women's space. Men and women are different and should be treated as such even if some think they are something else. I feel if this is the future somewhat we should just invest in their own category and call it fair.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
A & C. We need to stay affordable and all regulations do is raise the price. It's also very hypercritical for the United States to restrict our independence and growth when it comes to our natural resources and then turn around and have us dependent on China, the worst country to the environment and its people.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
I believe we need to continue with our legacy resource but also invest in wind. But we shouldn't allow states that want our energy dictate by their environmental wants how we do business. We're already regulated by the federal government.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
NO
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To maintain law and order. To ensure the opportunity for every American to live free and safe. The government isn't made to solve social issues, that's what we need to do as individuals. The government should be maintaining our infrastructure and making sure we good companies to ensure we have a thriving working community at all levels so the people and our Country succeed.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Less government, less regulations and less beaurcracy. We need to mind our own business in some of these other countries, then we wouldn't feel obligated to send the tax payers money overseas. Less government spend to curtail the debt of wasteful spending so we can help our own American. We need to ensure a strong America and Wyoming workforce to make sure we remain strong and independent. All people including Christians should be able to walk free of judgement for the way they think.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Disagree
We need to invest in some more training and invest in a more in-depth of hiring processes to weed out the bad actors because even though I don't believe in systemic racism I do believe individual people can be racists and it's dangerous when they become a police officer and to be clear it's any race that can be racists, just depends where you are.
2ND AMENDMENT
Please express your views on the 2nd Amendment.
I believe every person has this right. We have the right to protect ourselves and our property. No administration has the right to remove this right or make amendments to it. This is what protects our freedoms.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Neutral
Big pharma pushed pain pills and society was ok with it until people became addicted and the opioid epidemic began. Marijuana in its natural state is good medicine for many and has helped many without the addictive destruction like pain pills that have kills people and destroyed families.
