QUESTIONNAIRE*

*Additional information was received after the evaluation was assigned and was not considered in the Panel Evaluations, therefore it is for additional educational purposes only.
RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

In the most dire of circumstances for the mother (to save the mothers life) and the baby will not survive an early birth.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Minimum wage policy should be handled primarily at the state and local level. I support policies that grow the economy, create jobs, and reduce burdens on small businesses.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Force Accountability Through Real Audits 2. Eliminate Bureaucratic Overlap and Redundancy 3. Tie Spending to Measurable Outcomes 4. Eliminate “Use-It-or-Lose-It” Spending 5. Crack Down on No-Bid Contracts and Insider Deals

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

“Separation of church and state” means government cannot establish a religion or force belief. It protects religious freedom by keeping government out of the church. It does not mean pushing faith out of public life. People have the right to live out and express their beliefs, and government should neither promote nor be hostile toward religion.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Medicaid and Medicare should remain in place, but beyond those core programs, we should sharply limit expansion of additional taxpayer-funded healthcare programs.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

No. The government can and should study healthcare costs, but not by tracking identifiable individuals. Any data collection should be anonymized, aggregated, and strictly limited to protecting privacy. We can understand economic impact without building databases that tie personal medical information to specific people.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. Israel has been a longtime ally and a key strategic partner for the United States in the Middle East. The relationship supports our security, intelligence cooperation, and regional stability. At the same time, it must always serve the best interests of the United States and our citizens—consistent with an America First approach.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support sanctuary cities. From a rule of law standpoint, laws should be enforced consistently, and local policies should not undermine federal immigration law. Sanctuary policies create confusion for law enforcement and weaken cooperation across agencies. We can treat people with dignity while still upholding the law and maintaining secure communities.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and returning control to states and local communities. Those closest to students are best equipped to make decisions that reflect their needs. This approach reduces federal bureaucracy and overhead, allowing more resources to stay in classrooms and support teachers and students directly.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Neutral

That is too broad of a statement. Would this apply to scholarships? What about other individualized programs?

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Bible believing Christian. My faith shapes my values, including personal responsibility, service to others, integrity, and respect for the dignity of every person. I believe in living out those principles through my actions, both in my personal life and in public service.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear energy is the most reliable source to meet growing electricity demand. It provides consistent, around the clock baseload power, operates independent of weather, and produces zero emissions during generation. Expanding modern nuclear capacity

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system is to uphold the rule of law, protect the public, and ensure accountability for those who break it. It should focus on deterring crime, supporting law enforcement, and delivering fair and consistent consequences. At the same time, it should respect constitutional rights and provide a path for rehabilitation where appropriate, so individuals can return to society as law abiding citizens.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

The United States is governed by the Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land. Our legal system is based on that framework and on laws enacted through the democratic process. While individuals are fully protected in their right to practice their religion under the First Amendment, no religious legal system, whether Sharia law or any other, can be incorporated into or supersede American law. Courts must apply the Constitution and duly enacted laws equally to everyone to ensure consisten

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

From a constitutional conservative standpoint, the priority is protecting both public safety and the Second Amendment. Law abiding citizens have a constitutional and fundamental right to keep and bear arms and should not face broad restrictions. The focus should be on enforcing existing laws, keeping firearms out of the hands of prohibited individuals, and ensuring due process while holding criminals accountable.
