QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion should not be codified in law nor is it a right granted under the constitution. As a society, if we cannot protect those most vulnerable how could we possibly consider ourselves civil. The only time I could see where it could be considered legally permissable is when there is overwhelming evidence that a mother's life could be saved. Under the law, it could be considered justifiable homicide.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
I do not believe assisted suicide should be codified. Without question, the practice has long been practiced between a physician and his patient. It has really been recognized more as palliative/comfort care. If it is codified it would be a slippery slope leading to a point to where people could or would be encouraged to end their lives.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We need to repeal the commerce tax in Nevada.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would look at every area of spending to look for areas that could be cut or reduced.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
K-12 education should be the only taxpayer funded public education that is guaranteed. Further, taxpayer monies should follow the student to wherever a students parents choose to have them educated, whether it be public, private, or homeschool.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
They can't, it is a constitutional violation.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Never, it should be a personal decision.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We should fight it with all available resources.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
It is imperative that we must secure our southern border not only to guard against illegal immigration but to aid in national security.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who have bona fide skills which would be beneficial to our country. Immigrants looking for a better life who have sponsors and will not be allowed to use social services, and those truly trying to escape regimes that pose a threat to their lives. We should also allow defectors from enemy states. All immigrants should be closely scrutinized in order to protect our national security and our citizens.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I do strongly agree with this statement, however, marriage should not be something the government is involved in. The government needs to get out of the marriage business.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Institutions in the United States are NOT fundamentally racist. That is not to say there aren't racist people in them however. If those people identify themselves through their own actions by displaying racist behavior in their professional capacity, then they need to be dealt with.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am traditional protestant, bible believing American citizen.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
We need to repeal vote by mail, ballot harvesting, and the other bad laws passed by our legislature. We need to use secure paper ballots, return to precinct voting and tabulation, require voter identification, and get rid of same day voter registration.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
This is a yes and no question. Racism in and of itself is not a threat. It is acting on racist beliefs that would be danger. Additionally, the promulgation of the lie that racism is rampant in our country is ramping up tensions.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Our founding fathers had it correct. The government was established for six reasons, which are unity, domestic tranquility, justice, defense, promotion of the general welfare of the people and securing liberty for all.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
My legislative priorities are to limit the governor's emergency powers, fix our broken election system, establish constitutional carry, and make adoption easier and more affordable for the average citizen at no cost to the taxpayers.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The constitution clearly states "shall not be infringed". However, if someone is convicted of a violent felony and have been granted due process, their rights should be abridged. The key words being "convicted" and "abridged". Further, after a period of time and rehabilitation, there should be a process by which their right to own and bear arms is reestablished.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Should victims of drunk drivers be able to sue car manufacturers because their product was misused?
