QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

No abortion provider should receive taxpayer funding, regardless of how those funds are distributed, including through NGOs or other intermediaries. I will also work to strengthen laws to ensure that abortion providers cannot profit from the sale of fetal body parts, and I will support prosecuting any violations to the fullest extent of the law. Additionally, any taxpayer dollars allocated to family planning or women’s healthcare providers should be subject to strict auditing.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I do not support elective abortion. I believe in protecting unborn life while ensuring that doctors can act when a mother’s life is in danger, and that women facing difficult circumstances have access to compassionate support and resources.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I believe every human life has inherent value and deserves legal protection from conception until natural death. Our laws should reflect a commitment to defending the most vulnerable.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Every human life has inherent dignity and worth, including embryos created through artificial means. I believe they should be protected from purposeful destruction, just as we seek to protect life in all its stages.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

State laws regulating abortion should absolutely be consistent regardless of the delivery method. If it happens in South Carolina, it should be governed by South Carolina law. Period.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I believe in helping workers succeed, but government-set wage floors often hurt small businesses and entry-level job opportunities. The best path to higher wages is a strong economy and workforce development with less government regulations.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Private property rights are a cornerstone of free enterprise and a strong economy. Ownership drives innovation and productivity, and markets (not government) should determine prices, with limited regulation only to prevent monopolies. I also support eliminating property taxes, as it is unjust to continually tax individuals on property they already own.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Crack down on fraud and abuse – Strengthen audits and enforcement to ensure every taxpayer dollar is spent legally and appropriately. Freeze unnecessary spending growth – Require agencies to justify new spending before asking for more tax dollars. Audit and streamline government agencies – Identify duplication, outdated programs, and inefficiencies, and eliminate what is not delivering results. Reduce bloated bureaucracy – Right-size the state workforce and focus resources on frontline services

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state is often misunderstood. It was designed to prevent government control over religion, not to exclude people of faith or religious voices from public life. I believe individuals and churches have the right and, in many cases, a Biblical responsibility to engage in the civic and political process as part of exercising their beliefs, while the government must not establish or control religion.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals and businesses should not be compelled to provide services in a way that violates their sincerely held moral or religious beliefs. Protecting freedom of conscience is a core American principle, and people should not be forced to choose between their livelihood and their deeply held convictions.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I would say C, but that technically eliminates programs like VA Health Care. B becomes the better option because it preserves Medicare and Medicaid while still allowing private insurance and personal choice. It protects vulnerable populations without eliminating all public healthcare support. We must also prioritize reducing fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicaid, including discouraging misuse of emergency rooms for non-emergencies like common colds, which drives up costs and strains resources.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

This raises serious concerns about privacy and government overreach. Medical decisions and information should remain between patients and providers, not be used to build government databases for tracking or measuring individuals’ economic value. Efforts to control healthcare costs should focus on reducing fraud, improving efficiency, and encouraging competition—not expanding centralized data collection on personal health conditions.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

I believe the Chinese Communist Party represents one of, if not the greatest, national security threat to the United States. An America First approach means putting U.S. security, workers, and economic independence ahead of global interests protecting our borders, safeguarding our technology and intellectual property, and ensuring American supply chains are not dependent on adversaries. We must confront these threats directly and consistently to put American interests first.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Israel is a key democratic ally in a vital region and a strong partner in intelligence, counterterrorism, and regional security, supporting U.S. national security interests. An America First approach means all foreign relationships must be judged only on what benefits the United States. No ally should receive automatic support or influence U.S. domestic policy. Our standard is simple: is it good for America and Americans?

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

Absolutely not. We must enforce our laws. This is key to remaining a free and prosperous country.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

We should absolutely decentralize the DoEd, but completely handing the reins of education over to the states presents challenges. I believe we should reduce the DoEd workforce by 85% or more and use it to establish national standards and controls to ensure that our children are being educated and not indoctrinated.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

U.S. schools and institutions should remain independent and free from outside influence, ensuring that curriculum, research priorities, and policy decisions are guided by American interests and values, not foreign governments. Likewise, American university research should not be shared with or directed to foreign entities, especially hostile nations, where it could be used against U.S. national security or economic interests.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to direct the health and educational decisions of their children. Families, not government, should be the primary authority in raising and guiding children. Public policy should reinforce parental control, transparency in schools, and respect for individual family values.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

I strongly believe that parents must be fully informed and involved in all major medical and psychological decisions affecting their children. Schools and healthcare providers should not take any steps related to gender identity or medical transition without parental notification and consent. We must ensure strong safeguards, transparency, and caution in any treatments involving minors, prioritizing long-term health, mental well-being, and parental authority in every case.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman, rooted in religious conviction and not defined by government.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree with expanding gambling in our state. Casinos and widespread gambling may promise revenue, but they often bring addiction, family financial distress, and higher social service and law enforcement costs. They also drain spending from local small businesses while concentrating profits in a few large operators. We should be building strong, stable communities not expanding industries that profit from addiction and create long-term harm.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a sincere Christian. My faith in Jesus Christ informs my world view and morality. I believe that the Bible is God’s Word and the foundation of a just and prosperous society.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Pass the SAVE Act

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I strongly support maintaining clear, at-birth, sex-based categories in competitive sports to ensure fairness in women’s AND men's athletics. Likewise, privacy and safety considerations in spaces such as locker rooms, shelters, and correctional facilities must be legislatively addressed and enforced. All policies should prioritize safety and set clear biology-based standards.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree that man-made climate change is a crisis requiring mandates. Climate policy is driven more by consensus politics and alarmism than objective science, leading to higher energy costs and harm to families and businesses. We should separate environmental stewardship from climate alarmism. Protecting our natural resources matters, but it should be addressed through practical, solutions not policies that undermine energy reliability or economic growth.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Natural gas, nuclear and coal.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I believe in upholding the Constitution to insure that our God given rights are protected. Government must be made accountable to the people. We need smaller government, less regulations and lower taxes.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system should be simple: enforce the law, protect the public, and hold people accountable. If you break the law, there must be real consequences, regardless of who you are or what position you hold. Public safety comes first, and the rights of law-abiding citizens should always outweigh the interests of repeat offenders or violent criminals. A justice system that fails to enforce the law fairly and firmly loses trust.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Protecting children from sexual exploitation online is of the utmost importance. Law enforcement must have the tools, resources, and authority to aggressively identify and prosecute predators, shut down exploitative content, and hold tech platforms accountable for failing to safeguard minors. No child should be left vulnerable in digital spaces, and protecting them must always be a top priority.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law is wholly inconsistent with our Constitution.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Crime control, not gun control is the key to public safety. We should not be adding new restrictions on law-abiding citizens. I strongly support Second Amendment rights and oppose broad bans or expanded regulations that impact responsible gun owners. At the same time, we should focus on keeping guns out of the hands of criminals - and putting criminals behind bars not barrels.
