18. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

We have an old sin nature and tend to glory ourselves instead of God, seeking to consolidate power to that end. Question 16 is germane: James Madison said In Federalist #10 "that pure democracies have no cure for inducements to sacrifice the weaker party, and "have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property."

19. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, voters, congress, supreme court

20. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

After every reasonable effort is made to save both the mother and her child if mother's life is in danger.

21. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Government is taking over more and more of charitable work once performed by the Church. Government seeks to be a solution to all problems for mankind-- and those who commit to this path want the direct personal path to power that government solutions inevitably bring: This ruling class want the government to be sovereign, not God. A government that seeks to be everything to all people will invariably eat out our substance, and reduce freedom and prosperity. The smaller the government, with less taxes, means more money that Coloradans can give, keep, or spend as they see fit. Waste and misery are spread when meted out by government; when the taxpayer commits individually to charity, we are not only blessed to give (because faith without works is dead), but those receiving such charity are more open to the blessings of our heavenly Father and a step closer to the salvation provided by our Lord Jesus Christ.
