To protect our country, to print money, to keep order, to provide services and infrastructure that everyone can use even if some don't pay for it, and to help those who need temporary assistance to overcome financial/medical hardship.

Education- funding mentoring and tutoring programs in tandem with local organizations and volunteers to help children who fall behind, allow parents full access to the curriculum being taught in the schools, school choice Animal Welfare- strengthen the laws in NC to make it a felony to abuse a domestic animal (dog or cat), anti-tether laws, and mandatory pet responsibility in the schools Economic Development- emphasize community development and quality of place with municipalities, work with police to make neighborhoods safer, pass laws that require abandoned properties to be cleaned up, and work with educators to improve the public schools in NC so our area is a desirable place for entrepreneurs and corporations to invest.


CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
