QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

At some point after having the freedom of birth control and medication, that same woman has a responsibility for the consequences of her actions or inactions. We all know the scientifically viable timeframe of when a clump of cells changes into a fetus/embryo and into a viable human. Saying all that there comes a time when the right of a woman’s body becomes a shared body of two and that is when the rights of the unborn have to also be protected.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Chemical Abortion Drugs can do damage to a woman also that unborn child can feel this pain as it essentially melts the baby.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

I do not want people to suffer but I also see how it is abused in animals and I do not want that to be the norm for people.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I want Abortions to return to hospitals and not clinics.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

We need to encourage a living wage and also encourage employees to adjust wages depending on the job and skill level. This needs to also happen towards tippable wages which have never changes in my adult lifetime.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Yes

I think companies should invest in the people and the surrounding environment as well as how they take care of themselves financially. Businesses are a big part of a city, state, and neighborhood, so they should function as good neighbors. Although I do caution on some places putting too much on businesses to go too far so we have to have some balance on requirements.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

NEVER - Our Constitution states we have the Right to a Peaceful Assembly, and our freedom of the press.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Neutral

This all depends on if they are a public or private business.

Should religious schools which accept state funds be allowed to only admit families and students who agree to adhere to their statement of faith?

Yes

Yes as those schools are faith-based schools. Although if a state is giving funds to one faith-based school it should to all faith based schools.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B, I feel that we need to find a way to take care of our citizens needs and everyone should have fair healthcare and affordable options. I myself use the healthcare system setup for individuals that don't make enough income. We also need to ensure this is going towards our legal American citizens before anyone else.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

NEVER unless those vaccinations have been fully studied for their effects over a much longer time period. It was absolutely wrong for an experimental COVID vaccination to be forced on the general public as if we were nothing but guinea pigs.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

They are in a competition to become the best country in the world not equals. We of all nations should be working to understand that we are all on this same planet together that that peace is our best solution.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, as it is known as the only true friendly location in that region towards the United States. However, this does not give their government an open to do whatever they want in that region that causes further conflict, but they do have the right to defend themselves.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

Every child deserves a sound education, and that’s only possible when families are able to choose the school environment that’s right for them. I support homeschooling, charter schools, and private schools as an alternative to public schooling, parents should be allowed to know what is going on in their children’s schools, I would ask for more involvement with parents and teachers, lesson plans should be given in advance to parents, and I would like to see cameras in the classrooms.

VALUES

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Unless there is a true real medical reason that is life threatening (only closes I could see is if the person is born with both sets of sex organs) taxpayers should not pay for these services. Although we do need to look at procedures and medical purposes of drugs given to those that are NOT attempting gender transistions but have other medical complications that permit similar medication or surgical procedures. (though rare)

No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent unless an emergency situation arises risking immediate death.

Neutral

This all depends on the extremeness of the situation and the issue, as well as the environment this child is in. In case the child is in an abusive household, or rape or incest.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

Religious Marriage is traditionally a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman, historically. Although that is based on religion, the government as followed in the 1st and 14th Amendment cannot put one religion or its views above others or those without views. Thus, "marriage" performed by the government is secular and should be treated and recognized as such without religious interference. Also, government cannot force religious institutions from recognizing these

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian born and raised a Roman Catholic; in my youth I was an Altar boy. My faith is personal and a connection between myself, Jesus, and God our higher force. As a citizen and to be representee of the people I should understand the separation of church and state thus letting my faith guide me but my religion not divide people from their Constitutional rights.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

Voting absentee by mail ballot should be limited to those meeting at least one of the following criteria: 1) 65 years of age or older on Election Day, 2) sick or disabled, 3) expecting to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day, or 4) confirmed to be absent from the county of registration during voting.

Strongly Agree

We have to prevent any tapering with our voting rights, and the collection and counting of votes. We also must ensure we are allowed to investigate properly if an audit is needed. We should NEVER have any doubt in our voting system or who our President actually is.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is a threat to any country in the world, but we need to recognize that Racism is racism against one race to another race and sometimes the same race to the same race. But we need to also understand that statistics and facts are not racist and in order to fix issues with any groups we have to identify issues and work on fixing them, and for many it starts from within their own groups. In the end we are all human and we need to work together and quick the generalization of whole groups.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

If that was the case, you would have to admit that ALL institutions in the whole wide world was built on racism. What we can only admit to is that people were uneducated, people lacked proper respect for one another, and many do to this day. We have to admit also that slavery was and is not an isolated issue that America experienced nor based on one color to another. We need to learn from the past and move forward not punish people today for the errors of the past.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Neutral

I believe we separate the biological sexes for a reason in sports to protect each other from the physical differences in weight and strength class. I also think though we could remedy this issue by looking to how it's done in some sports by just that separation of sports by strength and weight class, instead of male vs female. As for locker rooms and bathrooms I believe everyone should have the right to their privacy and safety including nudity. I can go into further details but not enough space

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A, C, but to add that our environment does actually change due to the influence of the human species. We owe it to all the other plants and creatures of the earth to lessen our impact on the environment and look for better ways to produce energy. However, this does not work if the rest of the world does not take similar measures, but ultimately, we cannot force change overnight that will hurt our people and our countries economy.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To Serve and Protect its citizen, and to provide defense, ultimately it comes down to Infrastructure, Jobs, and Education to help further along the real needs of the humans in that area to be governed but not ruled.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

NO, I have a clean record.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No, never.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

I am a Constitutionalist for Liberty. I feel that issues are too often pegged as a "Conservative" or "Liberal" issues. Our Constitution was written by many people who shared many views but also disagreed and ultimately there was discussions and compromise that came to a very moderate doctrine that has guided this country for centuries. When you look towards our grand document it is a mixture of Liberal, Moderate, and Conservative ideas and practices and you must be open to everything.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

We must ensure that our officers of the law are respected. With that, they also should recognize that their duty as police officers is also to protect the safety of, WE THE PEOPLE. Many issues lately have made it hard for many to respect our police, and many have called to defund our police departments. I would say to this what a great man said: “without laws, we have no country.” The Police are necessary to enforce these laws, but they must also be held to the standard that protects our rights

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We Must Understand that when it says “Shall Not be Infringed” that means we have the right to protect ourselves from ourselves and from outside influence that would corrupt our way of life. We much also bring back proper education to our citizens on gun safety and use as our founders had believed we would always know. They never envisioned people NOT having firearms for hunting, protection, and safety, this is why this Amendment is extremely important to protect.
