The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

In addition, as proven during the Kennedy and Reagan administrations, cutting taxes (allowing taxpayers to keep more of the money earned) spurs spending and, as a result, increases in tax revenue. Tax cuts, coupled with reduced spending can lead to a reduction of the national debt.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Any, and all, efforts to simply the tax code must be implemented. A Fair Tax (which eliminates the income tax would allow workers to keep 100% of earned income) would encourage U.S. taxpayers to spend money purchasing new goods and services, which would be taxed, or purchase used goods (not taxed) in order to stretch their dollars.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

God instituted the family, the church, and government (the state). These institutions are related and should work together. The two, while separate institutions, share responsibilities. For example, the church should be involved in the teachings related to cultural issues. At the same time, the government is responsible for protecting the God-given rights of the people - therefore, laws are enacted in order to do so. When the church is involved in instructing the people regarding our responsibilities to God and man (i.e., following the laws of God) they will, in turn, be better citizens (and, fewer laws will be required).

Only with permission of the child(ren)'s parents.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Only with permission of the child(ren)'s parents.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

D (unless, the Congress declares war).

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Since the federal government has stated that there is no current trusted method to properly vet refugees from war-torn parts of the world, no refugees should be brought into the United States or territories. The Red Cross has been effective in their work to set up refugee camps (near the home country of the refugees). Perhaps, the United States could/should continue to fund these refugee camps and forgo re-settling the refugees in various parts of the United States.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a young boy of 11 years, I realized that I was a sinner in need of a savior. I believe that Jesus Christ came to earth as a baby, lived a perfect life, died a cruel death on a cross, was buried, and raised from death to life three days later. I confessed my sin to Him and asked for His redemption. As a result, I have liberty through Christ. However, this liberty does not afford me the right to do as I please. I have a responsibility to respect others, provide for myself and my family (and, help others when given the opportunity). My salvation does not require good works - the evidence of my salvation (faith) produces good works.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Photo identification is required for many things (e.g., boarding aircraft, picking up tickets at a will-call window, opening a bank account, job applications, obtaining a mortgage, rentals/purchases, getting married, purchasing a firearm, renting a hotel room, hunting/fishing license, picking up pharmaceuticals, donating blood). Why not to vote?

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

In Missouri, a law was passed to require photo I.D., require paper ballots, prohibit ballot drop boxes, reduce the early voting period (this should have been eliminated), and prohibit mail-in voting. We must not give the federal government the authority over voting laws. This must remain a state responsibility.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I think it is. Although, I believe there is only one race (the human race), the idea that skin color is a basis for superiority has caused great divides in our country. The violence which has resulted - leading to riots and murder - has brought us to a place where law enforcement is no longer respected (or properly funded). In addition, the teaching of CRT has perpetuated the false idea that a person's skin color outweighs the content of their character.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

In Missouri, I led a successful seven-year effort to return money stolen from taxpayers by the MO Department of Revenue. I introduced bills which would have challenged Roe v. Act (prohibit hormone therapy to change sex on minor children), a proposition to eliminate the state corporate income tax, and a requirement for the MO General Assembly to approve or disapprove any new or existing rule or regulation.
