QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

As a pro-life Christian, I do not believe elective abortion under any circumstance should be allowed. Every life is sacred.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I want Texans to earn more, but mandates don’t create prosperity. They create job losses & higher costs. We should focus on growing the economy, cutting taxes, job training, & allowing the free market work so everyone has the opportunity to prosper.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Eliminate waste by limiting spending, so that every tax dollar is spent efficiently. Eliminate M&O property taxes, enact reasonable restraints on spending for all taxing entities, conduct regular performance audits, and tie funding to demonstrated outcomes.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The government cannot establish or control a religion. Our Constitution protects the free exercise of religion, and the Judeo-Christian values upon which our country was founded play a critical role in the success of our republic.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

Medical information is deeply personal, and creating such a database raises serious concerns about privacy, government overreach, data security, and potential misuse. The proper role of government is to protect individual liberty, not to catalog citizens based on their health status.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, a strong relationship with Israel is critical. As the only stable democracy in the Middle East, Israel serves as a strategic and values-aligned partner that is an important part of American foreign policy.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

This power is not entrusted to the federal government in the US Constitution and is therefore this responsibility rests with the individual states.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that we were made by and in the image of God, who sent his son, Jesus, to die for us on the cross, so that we may have eternal life with Him.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Secure elections are essential to a constitutional republic. Voter ID laws help protect against fraud and ensure that only eligible voters participate, which preserves trust in the democratic process.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Government policies should treat individuals equally under the law, not divide Texans by race or ancestry. This would deepen division rather than promote unity.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I was proud to author and pass the Women's Bill of Rights in the 89th legislature, defining what a woman, girl, boy, and man are in order to protect the dignity, privacy, and rights of women.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

Our climate is always changing, and stewardship of our natural resources is important. Alarmist claims about man-made climate change are often used to justify costly regulations that hurt Texas families, energy workers, and our economy. Climate policy should be driven by innovation and economic growth, not alarmism or government mandates.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear energy provides reliable, 24/7 baseload power at scale, making it the best option to meet growing electricity demand while maintaining grid stability and energy independence.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of Texas’ criminal justice system is to protect law-abiding citizens by enforcing the law, supporting law enforcement, and holding criminals, especially violent and repeat offenders, accountable. Public safety and victims’ rights must always come first. At the same time, Texas should pursue smart reforms that reduce recidivism, strengthen rehabilitation for non-violent offenders, and use taxpayer dollars responsibly.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Protecting children should never be partisan. Texas must stand firm against sexual exploitation, support law enforcement, and put the safety of children ahead of tech profits.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law has no place in American courts or public policy. The United States and Texas are governed by the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law, not religious legal systems, and that principle must be upheld.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Public safety is protected by enforcing existing laws and prosecuting criminals, not by infringing on Second Amendment rights.
