OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

When the life of the mother is at risk or there is serious risk of permanent disability to the mother

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

I believe that, under our Constitution, the Federal government has no role to play in this issue and it should be left to the states.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

This is not in the Constitution. That the government can't choose "winners and losers" when it comes to religion. We are supposed to be tolerant of all religions in the public square and the government has no right to impose one religion over another. It does NOT mean that there can't be religious statements, icons, or celebrations in our schools and public spaces. The left likes to use this to remove all faith from government; however, our country is founded on religion.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No one should be required to do anything against their moral or religious beliefs as protected in the 1st amendment.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

Choice C is closest but I could live with Choice B. We should protect our allies if threatened. We should intervene if a conflict or issue directly affects our national interests. When we do intervene it should be an overwhelming response and then we walk away...no more nation building.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes it is. The Bible tells us that Israel is a protected land. They are essential to preventing the Middle East from projecting its evil outside of its region. They are an ally and a Judeo-Christian Democratic Country and a beacon of light for the world. It is essential that we stick together.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

The wokeness in our military is a significant reason. Also, we do not adequately pay our service members nor do we take care of them properly as veterans. Another cause is that our educational system is intentionally producing citizens who don't believe that America is good and worth defending. The educational system and our culture are producing weak and physically unfit males.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. Absolutely NONE! Nor should they be able to ask your vaccination status. As part of my pro-freedom platform, I will sponsor the COVID Act - Citizens Objecting to Vaccines for Individual Decisions - ensuring no denial of employment or education

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Choice B is the closest to my view although I could live with choice C. I think that Obamacare is terrible care and I think that we need to change the laws so that private Health Care insurance is able to be issued nationally and not at the state level. This would vastly increase the size of the risk pools which would lower premiums. We should also decouple health care from our employment.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

Make the Trump tax cuts permanent. I think that Congress must pass a balanced budget. I would vote for a line item veto for the President to remove pork added to a bill.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Agree

The tax payer has nothing to do with this. These are private citizens that took out personal loans - it is their responsibility and nobody else's.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

Congress should make it illegal for any investment houses (e.g. Blackrock, Vanguard, etc.) to use these scores to invest any tax deferred money. Congress also should make it illegal to consider in any banking transaction (mortgage, credit score reporting, lines of credits, etc.) to be used either.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

We need to finish the wall, reinstate the Stay in Mexico policy, double or triple the # of border control agents, & give them the technology to effectively monitor the border - drones, helicopters, seismographs, infrared cameras, etc. We need to remove the perverse incentives to come here illegally by opening up immigration law and stating that if you ever enter the country illegally you may never become a citizen. We need to significantly increase the # of immigration judges to process quickly.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

There are two groups that I would allow in: 1) actual political and religious asylum seekers and 2) people who apply properly and are going to be a benefit to our our country and not a burden. We are not a xenophobic country - proper legal immigration has been what has made this country great.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

We should not give any federal education funds to states that do not have universal school choice

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

The Department of Education shouldn't exist but, as long as it does, I would use it to push universal school choice and the removal of DEI from campuses. I would sponsor the PROTECT Act - Protecting Resources and Opportunities To Educate Children Today - to introduce prayer back into public schools and re-empowering parents to be in charge what is being taught to their children.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

As a strong advocate of our second amendment my answer is: NONE. We need to roll back the ones that exist. There should be no gun free zones.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

When I look to the right I don't see anyone else.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To provide for the safety of our citizens, to ensure our sovereignty, to project our self-interests, to provide a fair and impartial system of justice for the resolution of conflict, provide services for the general welfare (water, roads, bridges, airports, ports, etc.) and nothing else. Every law takes away someone's freedom, as a Congress, we should only pass essential laws. Government should be as minimally intrusive into the daily lives of its citizens as possible.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Scripture tells us that marriage is between one man and one woman. We are a Judeo-Christian country so we should follow its definition of marriage.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

This is all child abuse. This why I've earned the endorsement of Matt Osbourne, the CEO of Operation Underground Railroad, who is a leader in the fight against child trafficking because we both agree that Congress should pass the STOP ACT - Stop Trafficking Opportunities and Prosecute - to dramatically reduce this horrific problem.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a devout Christian. I believe that God should be at the forefront of all decision making and that the unchurching of America is the largest problem that we face as a society. As I have mentioned in other answers, we are a Judeo-Christian nation, and we need to get back to the values of our founding. We need to invite God back into the places that we have eliminated Him from. I will have a Bible and a Constitution on my desk as a physical reminder of my principles.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

That would lead to mob rule. I don't want a democracy, I want to have a constitutional representative republic.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is fundamentally evil and racist itself and rooted in Marxist ideology.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

fossil fuels
