QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only if the life of the mother is threatened.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
This is Socialism and Socialism is an inherently evil construct.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
We need to pass a law making continuing resolutions illegal, increasing the debt ceiling (except as adjusted for inflation) illegal, a demand that a balnced budget is passed. We should be looking at passing a negative budget and start paying off this debt.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Nobody should pay zero. If someone isn't paying into the tax pool they have no incentive to not vote for entitlement programs.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
We can never let our places of worship be closed again for any reason.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The founding fathers never intended this clause to remove Church and God from the state. What it was intended to do was to ensure that the government could pick one church or religion over another. We need to ask God to come to the places that we have kicked him out of
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Under ZERO circumstances
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Choice D is my view. Unfortunately, we can't do that immediately without doing serious injury to the seniors that the government promised this and don't have the financial resources, due to being on a fixed income, to afford any other health care. We need to pick a date of birth where we will no longer give this entitlement to. The government was never supposed to be a major supplier of health care insurance. Until we get to that point Choice C is the immediate option.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
Choice A
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
This program is pure antisemitism and needs to be condemned.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We should keep a military presence where the recruit and train and kill them whenever we find them.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We need to build the wall, deploy the national guard, double the amount of ICE agents, and give them the manpower and technology needed to effectively secure our borders.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Completely defund them
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Only people who can show the true need for asylum (which is an extremely small number) and people who can show that they have the skills and means to be able to support themselves and be a contributing member of our society.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is racism and it is evil
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a practicing Catholic. I believe that God should be the center of your decision making processes
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Zero mail in ballots, only absentee ballots that are requested by the voter is ok. No voter machines connected to the internet. Paper back up for all elections. 100% audit of all elections
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Its a ridiculous concept designed to promote Socialism - moving money from 1 group of people to another. How could this even work? How do you handle the Asians who never owned slaves? Should they pay. What about people whose families immigrated over after slavery was abolished - should they pay? What about black slave holders do they pay or get money?
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. But the Democrats playing the race card and dividing us by race is a threat to our domestic security.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
It is a national security issue that we are energy independent.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Choice A
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
When I turn my head to the Right I don't see to many people there.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
tinyurl.com/grassrootsforum A debate between the candidates that I am running against.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
My 1st goals would be to secure our border and start getting our 1st amendment back. The Communications Act of 1934 Sec 230 needs to stricken, Big tech platforms declared a public square, and put in significant fines for any violations of the 1st amendment rights of people on their platforms. We need to say that Colleges can't accept federal school loans if they violate the 1st amendment rights of their students. We need to open up the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and add political thought and political speech to the list of protected classes.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
No restrictions at all without due process.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
This is ridiculous. If someone kills you with a hammer should your family be able to sue the hammer manufacturer?
