What is your position on the minimum wage?
It has been politicized and distracted us from focusing on workforce development. Employers are struggling to find employees in the retail, service, transportation, and trade sectors and pay exceeds minimum wage just to recruit and retain employees.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

There is a sense of pride in ownership, it exemplifies independence and incentivizes us to work harder and smarter, as well as efficient and effective. The product or service that a business or industry provides brings much value to our lives in the form of employment and a sense of community. Whether you are in agriculture, energy, retail or manufacturing, you are part of that economic fabric that binds our community together.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Over regulation and burdensome rules that cost the public and businesses a lot of time and money trying to comply with trivial policies that are meant to hinder, harm and discourage while providing very little protection or safety to the public or environment. Activists push their agenda through the bureaucratic system with sympathetic agencies with a goal to limit or stop activities they don't agree with (agriculture, energy production, electric generation, pipelines, transmission, etc.)
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The 1st Amendment establishes our right to assemble, practice religion and protects our free speech. I believe that the separation of church and state means government will not restrict religious ceremonies or activities and individuals have the right to practice their faith without interference from government.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

No one should be denied the essentials such as food and water. However, if it is a type of service that is not essential then people can find someone else to perform that task. I'm perplexed why would anyone force someone else to do something they don't want to do, you likely won't be getting their best work or service.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I do believe that government getting involved with health care over the last 3 decades has artificially pushed the price of healthcare up. When you make filing for procedures so cumbersome and complicated it invites fraud and abuse.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Israel is threatened by countries around them that that don't acknowledge their right to occupy the land they possess as a country or their right to exist. Israel has been and will always be God's chosen people. The country or countries that support Israel will have God's favor.

There would be great benefit to knowing exactly what the Federal Government is funding for our the school systems. We need the basics supported, not political agendas that are driving dissension in our communities. Stick to the basics!

We need an unbiased and balanced approach for the materials made available to our students. Furthermore, with the lack of understanding that our students have on economics and government. I believe these courses should once again be required for students so they may have a better understanding and appreciation for the structure and process of government & economy.

Government should not be sponsoring or supporting organizations, Individuals or programs that cause more confusion in a child's life. We have all struggled with our identity growing up, it's not abnormal. In many cases we were in our 20s before we started to solidify many things about who we are and our purpose. Some people I know still struggle at times. We need more Compassion and encouragement, it’s not uncommon to feel confused about our identity or purpose in life.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

I am a Christian, I try to practice my faith accordingly, but I fall short at times. I need to practice more patience and encouragement towards others. We live in a broken world that doesn't practice honor and justice. As a regulator I try to practice grace and mercy when dealing with difficult people or situations.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

You have to identification to check into a flight, go through security, open a bank account, buy tobacco or alcohol. I'm not sure why some people have politicized this issue. Where you live is important and verifying your citizenship is good policy! You are voting for candidates in local and state elections and for federal offices. If you're not a resident of that community or district or citizen of the United States, you don't have a right to cast a ballot for that election.

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The criminal justice system should first focus on restitution and consequences for one's behavior and actions. They should serve the sentence that was given to them by the court (There is growing frustration in the public for people that don't serve even 70% of their time, especially violent criminals). Second, work to help rehabilitate inmates and emphasize developing new skills and trades.
