QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
My beliefs are never.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I believe the Income Tax as well as the state sales tax should be reformed. Michigan needs a total overhaul to attract businesses as well as keep retired Michigan residents here in Michigan. We also need to attract our college graduates to stay in Michigan and find jobs in our state.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would reduce spending in regulatory agencies to promote less government interference in the private sectors and promote capitalism in our state and run the state as a profitable business.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
My belief is no one is owed a free ride to college. Many people do not attend nor want to go to college. There are many ways to fund college through loans, grants and other means without putting that financial burden on state taxpayers.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Private business should have the right under our constitution to not violate their own religious or moral beliefs and should have the right of refusal.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
There should be no reason to violate anyone's freedom of religion and close a church.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Education is a major force in combating Islamic terrorism. Issues must be discussed with local, state and federal authorities and an open line of communication between all must be present.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Choose not to answer
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
I strongly feel the southern borders need to be more secured and more boarder agents employed to police the incoming of illegal immigrants into our country. I strongly agreed with the building of the wall.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
All immigrates should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S, but they must be fully vetted and determined that the person is indeed attempting to enter our country to make it a better and safer for all who live here. Certain set qualifications should be established that are fair for all.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Strong Conservative Christian who puts God, Family and Country as my top priorities. I am pro life 100% of the time.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Absolutely not!
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I would eliminate the voting machines, require voter I.D., verify voter signatures, verify voter log books to eliminate voters who have died or moved out of the districts. Verify absentee ballots and maintain chain of custody as well as physical ballots properly.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I do not believe racism is a threat to domestic security in our country. I believe it has been used as a political tool to manipulate voters and divide our country. I do believe the general public is aware of such tactics and are growing weary of it. We are all Americans and must work together to make America great.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To serve and assist the people of our great state and country with the least intrusion into our Rights and Freedoms as possible.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am a father of 4 and a grandfather of 10. I am not a politician but a former law enforcement officer having served as a City of Detroit Police officer as well as a Deputy Sheriff for over 35 yrs. I am presently working with the DEA as a Senior Financial Investigator assigned to our Opioid Strike Force. I believe we need service oriented representation in Lansing to serve the people and be accountable to the people.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
Funds must be there for policing as well as mental health. Years ago many mental heath programs were abolished and by default officers were left to deal with mentally ill patients. Through years of adapting, the two have been making progress in assisting our mentally challenged community. I believe this path should be continued together.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Laws are already in place for this. No restrictions on legal gun owners are warranted and our 2nd Amendment must be protected.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Disagree
Criminals should be made accountable for gun violence not firearms dealers and manufacturers.
