QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

As a pro/life candidate I will support a bill to reinstate the sonogram requirement before every abortion that is performed in Virginia. I will sponsor bills that protect the lives of the unborn in Virginia so that Virginia will no longer the southern state with the most lenient abortion restrictions.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Virginians, who are against abortion, should not have their tax dollars going towards abortion services.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support assisted suicide for any reason because it violated the hippocratic oath of doctors.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Virginians should not be compelled to take actions that violate their moral and/or religious beliefs and they should have immunity from lawsuits filed against them.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under no circumstances, even if there is a health emergency, because the close of church’s violated the First Amendment.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

In Virginia the Virginia State Police should coordinate with the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security to protect the state from the threats that Islamic extremists pose.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

As a baptist Christian I support Israel, and I do not support efforts to boycott that nation. But I will support a call for full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel that does not involve a boycott.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

We should keep Medicaid and Medicare programs for Virginians, and I do not believe any additional programs are necessary. In addition, I would explore cuts to components of the Medicaid and Medicare programs.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I support passing a law making the experimental mRNA COVID-19 vaccines optional for employees of private and public institutions. I also believe that the experimental mRNA COVID-19 vaccines should be optional for students, administrators and teachers.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Virginia has a $3.6 billion budget surplus and we have a duty to cut taxes for our residents and for our businesses.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would evaluate certain programs to cut spending for once I’m elected.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

I believe that we should have public and private schools. But public schools should not be entirely funded by taxpayers dollars.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

To make it more difficult for the Mexican Mafia, MS-13, and other criminal enterprises, from sexually trafficking children and women, we must complete the United States border wall with Mexico. I also support starting a border wall with the Canadian border

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The United States has a right, as any other country with borders does, to determine who immigrates to our nation. The circumstances can be set by the United States Congress and the United States President.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I support education freedom by giving parents more choices for where they send their children to school by allowing vouchers to take their children to private schools, if they are unhappy with their local public school system.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

Police officers should be immune as long as they don’t engage in unjustified brutality,

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

The “defund the police” movement will never work, as we will always need law enforcement officers officers to protect our communities. We can invest in our police, mental health institutions and our communities at large.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support “Constitutional Carry” while still allowing for optional applications for “Consealed Carry” so that Virginians may travel to other states,

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Manufacturers are not responsible for the actions of their users. This is the same reason that I don’t support victims of knife violence suing dealers and manufacturers.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To uphold the tenants of the Social Contract Theory such as protecting life, liberty and property,

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No I’ve never been convicted of a felony and I’ve never been penalized in court for sexual misconduct,

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I support term limits for politicians representing both local and state levels of government by amending the Virginia Constitution. I support a law mandating at least one School Resource Officer in every public school in Virginia. I support a law that makes treats the distribution of fentanyl as felony homicide in Virginia,

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I believe in the separation of church and state, but I also believe that Judeo-Christian values are the foundation for my relative George Mason IV’s Virginia Declaration of Rights which guarantees the right to free speech and the freedom to choose your own religion, without interference by the government,

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Gender identity should not be a protected class, because there are only two genders, male and female. Also, gender identity goes against my moral convictions and that of many of my voters within the 11th senate district,

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I believe that marriage is between one man and one woman. However, since the United States Supreme Court has deemed Sex-Sex marriage to be illegal we cannot return back to mandating only traditional marriage unless the highest court overrules its past ruling

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

In 2023, On Easter Sunday, I was baptized at the Albemarle Baptist Church and I support personal values that ensure that others will be saved by Jesus Christ.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

A photo identification should be mandated for every person who votes in person. If someone lost their ID they should have a provisional ballot and only have it counted after their ID is verified. Also all mail in votes should have an ID verified by a notary republic.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I support shortening Virginia early voting from 45 days to 7 to 14 days.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Institutions in our great nation are not fundamentally racist and I believe that we should ban CRT from being taught in our public schools.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The biggest domestic security threat is the the duel human trafficking and fentanyl crises in our nation,

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

I do not support giving people reparations for actions committed by individuals who died generations ago. We must move forwards, not backwards towards equality.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Stricter environmental laws hurts our economy and restricts the freedoms of Virginians. Individuals and corporations should be free to choose the renewable and non-renewable energies that they want to use.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

If hydraulic fracking is necessary then it should be a choice for a company to use.
