QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Agree
Public school is not the place for discussions or lessons about sexuality or ending pregnancy.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
An abortion should be allowed when the mother is at risk of dying.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
The role of government is to protect our rights.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I strongly support government funding of public education from Pre-K through high school, however, I strongly disagree with government funding of college for the following reasons: I believe we tend to appreciate what we work for more than what we are given. What is expected is often taken for granted. College is not given, and it is not a right. It is a choice and not one to be taken lightly. It is a path that should be chosen with great care and an understanding of the personal financial implications in terms of both the cost and the expected outcome of graduating with a university degree. Further, to lay that immense financial burden on taxpayers is not sustainable. Higher education is not the responsibility of the government to provide, nor is it the responsibility of the taxpayer.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings or court houses.
Strongly Disagree
How can the Ten Commandments harm anyone as they are the foundation of living right?
At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.
Strongly Agree
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
EDUCATION
Every state should mandate K-12 standardized tests and the use of teaching software which aligns with Common Core standards.
Strongly Disagree
I agree that every state should mandate K-12 standardized tests so that real time assessments can be made regarding the effectiveness of the curriculum and how well it is understood by students. However, I strongly disagree with the use of teaching software which aligns with Common Core standards, because children are taught what to think and not how to think, and it threatens complete federal control of education and the loss of state and local autonomy, input, and control.
Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.
Strongly Agree
Educational options benefit the individual learning needs of all students, which is why I support school choice.
Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.
Strongly Agree
It is my hope that one day it will be against the law to teach CSE anywhere in the United States. It purposely oversexualizes our children as young as kindergarten. I will do all that I can to protect and defend the innocence, mind and health of all children from harmful instructional materials, library books, and curriculum. CSE and SEL goes too far and oversteps familial rights and children's privacy.
I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.
Strongly Disagree
The above listed curricula promotes segregation and divide in our country.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Gender is not fluid, it is not something with which we identify: it is our biological DNA. To allow biological males to compete against biological females destroys equality in hard-earned female athletics, as it is indisputable that men are stronger and faster than women.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again believer and follower of Jesus Christ. I follow the principles from the Bible to direct my life and make decisions. As a result, I defend and uphold biblical justice, moral values, and the innocence of children from a biblical worldview.
No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent.
Strongly Agree
School-based health clinics offer healthcare to public school children during the school day without the involvement of parents, and it is a GROSS abuse of children and parental rights! The state has no right to assume the role of making healthcare decisions for minors. Our public schools are meant to teach children knowledge-based facts, and to provide academic excellence, not to administer health care treatments.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I apply principles from the Bible to every area of my life, and I use a biblical worldview to approach to all issues.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What books have had the most profound impact on your view of life?
The following books have had the most profound impact on my view of life: The Holy Bible, Prayers that Avail Much, by Germaine Copeland, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass: An American Slave, Written by Himself, by Frederick Douglass, George Washington Carver (Christian Encounters Series), by John Perry, More Than Anything Else, by Marie Bradby, Chris K. Soentpiet, Helen Keller: A Life, by Dorothy Herrmann, Marva Collins' Way, by Marva Collins, and Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I take great pride in my 23+ years of work in education. This experience includes classroom teaching, tutoring, homeschooling, mentoring, founding of a small Frisco homeschool program, a summer STEM science youth camp program, and working as a youth development facilitator. I was an elementary educator for several years and earned certification in the states of Maryland, Colorado, Virginia and Texas. I have worked in urban and suburban school districts, and consistently raised the standards for student learning in each of my classrooms. I ensured that 90% of all my first, third, and fourth grade children were proficient readers and writers prior to advancing to the next grade level. Many of my class sizes reached a capacity of thirty-five students without the help of an assistant. In order to meet the needs of my students, which included ESL learners and children with special learning needs, I provided free tutoring before and after school. I also taught in Fairfax County, one of the nation’s top school districts, providing holistic and challenging teaching practices to increase academic success and excellence. My vast and varied teaching experiences qualify me for the Texas State Board of Education position because I can differentiate between a challenging and quality education system, and a failed education system. I know how to select an effective curriculum that challenges children to achieve academic excellence, while inspiring high moral standards that promote Texas family values. Further, I serve on several Boards: International Rock of Faith, Children’s Chorus of Collin County, Waterford Falls HOA, Beauman’s 2nd Chance 4 Change, Life Talk Advisory Board, and as a Facilitator for Foundation For CHOICE. These leadership roles demand and foster a keen knowledge of working cooperatively with other members on a board, and this directly strengthens my ability to defend our children's health and innocence when making educational decisions for them. I dedicate my life serving the needs of our nation's most vulnerable people, children. My goal is to protect children and their families from overreaching governmental programs that do not serve our youth.
2ND AMENDMENT
Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.
Agree
In schools, teachers are our emergency first responders to help save the lives of children.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Do you support mandatory vaccinations for children attending public school?
I do not support mandatory vaccinations for children attending public school. Families should be encouraged to receive important vaccines, with full disclosure of side effects and ingredients, but not mandated. Of current pressing importance is whether or not to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for children attending public school. I do not support forcing families to unnecessarily inoculate their children or to compromise their religious freedoms in order to allow them access to public school. I seek to protect religious rights, freedom, personal choice and civil liberties, the cornerstone of the United States.
I support mask mandates.
Strongly Disagree
All health decisions should be a personal choice, with informed consent. The freedom to choose - liberty - is a fundamental right guaranteed in the United States Constitution.
