OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe that late term and partial birth abortions should be prohibited. I also believe that, in the case of minors, parental notification and consent is to be required as it would be for any other medical treatment. I believe that the only way to end abortion is for American society to provide a wider range of adoption and counseling alternatives that make abortion undesirable option.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Social Security is a safety net for our senior citizens that must be preserved. Going forward, I support a private option for younger workers. I would also eliminate the cap on social security contributions, that act alone would secure the program for decades. Aggressive targeting of fraud in the system as well as in the disability system would also strengthen the program.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I support expanding on President Trump's reduction of regulations, shrinking the federal bureaucracy, and relocating Departments out of Washington D.C. to reduce costs. I would also reduce our global military footprint while assuring that we remain second to none in our ability to defend ourselves.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

Federal tax dollars should not be used to pay off student loans. The federal government should not be providing student loans as a lender has only increased the cost of a college education. Private lenders competing to provide student loans will lower the cost of these loans. I have detailed a number of steps that can be taken to reduce the need for these loans as well as the cost of a college education.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state guarantees our right to practice our faith free from government restrictions or interference. As it is freedom of religion and not freedom from religion there will be no state sponsored church or prohibitions on any churches or people of faith.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

To reverse the trend of increasing costs and restricted access to quality health care we must reduce government and insurance paperwork, encourage real price competition, and allow unlimited individual and employer contributions to HSA (Health Savings Accounts) to anyone carrying any type of health coverage, including Medicare, VA benefits, etc. as proposed in Senator Paul's Health Savings Accounts for All Act. The Covid 19 pandemic has made us painfully aware of the need to make preparedness a higher priority, starting with responding to Chinese officials' threats of withholding medications with expediting the domes

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

While favoring a non interventionist national policy I do support the threat and targeted use of force to prevent harm to our citizens or interests. I do not support the use of troops for actions not approved by congress or for use in conflicts without a clear goal and exit strategy. Our involvement in Middle East peace agreements is a positive step that should be supported 100% I am going to take a side step here and address the need to address domestic terrorism from Marxist and Anarchist groups. I support and would have signed the letter from 50 Congressmen demanding that the DOJ investigate the organized riots. I support federal charges being filed against those funding and supporting these destructive actions. I also support the President's actions against such divisive programs as The 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory, and would even add the aggressive alternative sex education programs being taught in elementary schools.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Eliminate the welfare state; eliminate the need for a wall. With declining birth rates and aging population there is a need to increase in legal immigration. Specifically, there's a need for highly skilled workers as well as for agricultural visa workers. I support an expedited path to permanent status for these people to be part of America. While I support increased legal immigration I believe that workers should not receive welfare benefits. These workers should be sponsored by family, employers, civic groups, etc. but should not be here at taxpayers expense. I support enforcement targeting those with final deportation orders.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I have a deeply personal relationship with god, beginning and ending each day with a rather long prayer of thanks and appreciation for the beauty of each day and for all that is provided. I was baptized and raised in the Roman Catholic Church but am not currently affiliated with any denomination.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have over thirty years of successful business experience running multi million dollar retail operations, traveling internationally, and negotiating multi million dollar agreements. I am a firm believer in the values that this country was founded upon and the traditions that bind us as a great people. I also have 60+ years as a witness of Republican and Democrat mismanagement and will provide representation that serves the voters over political parties or big donors. My priorities are many starting with reducing the size and scope of our federal government along with reducing the taxes that feed that monster. I will be a voice for a strong national defense but against globalism, foreign intervention and endless wars. I will support the reduction of overbearing regulatory and licensing requirements that restrict business and individual opportunities. And my position on an issue will never change depending on which party is in the White House.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I do not support restrictions on our second amendment rights. I do believe that gun owners have an obligation to be well trained and practiced on their firearms.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Neutral

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Currently our biggest issues are reigniting the economy, repairing a terribly broken education system, and improving our food supply logistics. * Legislation that reduces federal spending and burdensome regulations while expanding of free market economic opportunity zones that eliminate burdensome regulations and licensing requirements will facilitate job creation and entrepreneurial opportunities. * Legislation that supports school choice and enables any federal education dollars to follow the student's education needs with options of apprenticeship and entrepreneurial training programs. These dollars should also be extended to support trade schools and apprenticeship programs that will provide millions of middle class jobs and restore our depleted skilled trade workforce. * Legislation that enables local food producers to supply residents and stores products supplementing the limitations of a handful of corporate national producers and shortening the supply chain.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I do not believe that there is systemic racism in this country, however, I do believe that federal anti-poverty programs have a 50 year history of failure and the unintended consequence of expanding economic disparity that will require more than the government's getting out of the way to resolve. The real cure is a vibrant economy that creates jobs, income and opportunity. School choice with options that focus on trades and life skills need to be supported for a long term solution. Economic opportunity zones will create business and job opportunities, and reduce regulations that are barriers to creating businesses and entrepreneurship. I fully support school choice and enabling any federal education dollars to follow the student's education needs with options of apprenticeship and entrepreneurial training programs. Our freedoms and vibrant economy are the reasons why millions of people of color continue to come to our country and to share in the American Dream.
