OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

to save the life of the mother

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Continually review and reduce or eliminate where able. I oppose adding new taxes.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I intend to review the areas of education (specifically dollars going to higher education), medicine, marketing (especially for marketing medicine or pharmaceuticals), roads, and other areas that are receiving or dependent on federal dollars. I intend to review committees and departments to determine they are purposeful and focused on the supporting the role of government being to preserve order and people's ability to live peaceful and quite lives.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree with the current proposals and legislation of 'free college'. I also believe an overall look at the American education system must take place if we want to raise the quality of our education.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

none. Churches must stay free to open or close as determined by their congregations, not by the government

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C, with a review/modifications on both quality of care, as well as evaluating/reducing unnecessary spending. Additionally, better processes to reduce fraud.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

none

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

There are swift actions and continual actions needed: Swiftly, protect our borders first and put pressure on nations that engage in terrorism. After that, extreme caution must exist with all influences into our state, nation & government, to not allow any terrorist groups/activities to enter into our society. Similar to any other area, the freedoms in this country are not intended to lessen the freedoms of one group for another and that needs to be a standard/measure by which decisions are made. We must focus on and continue to protect the United States through a greater defense of the US Constitution and Declaration of Independence--this would include continual teaching for all ages. There may be times that the US must assist other countries in their efforts to reduce terrorism--this must be entered into carefully and with great discretion.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

I am in support of the wall as well as the enforcement of current laws.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Only those individuals who are willing to come into our country legally and within the current laws. Requests for waivers must be hold a high bar of why and when or in some cases, waivers removed. I also believe some degree of English-speaking classes must be required.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

We need to support parents rights to determine education of their children and be open to good programs that continue to support that.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I have a simple belief that all people have an inherited sinful nature and thus have fallen short of God's glory. I believe all people have the knowledge of God written on their hearts. I believe that the only way to obtain eternal life is through the understanding of the sinful self and that Jesus was sent to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins in order for us to be seen by God as righteous. The triune God is father, son and holy spirit-three persons, one God. My decisions and values in my life are based on seeking God's will first and in the instances of adiaphora, where God neither commands nor forbids, we must be careful in our care and love of our neighbor.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Generally, I want to reduce all possibilities of fraud, while ensuring all legal citizens have the ability to vote, regardless of circumstance or situation. I would like to see laws that allow free voter ids in certain situations, with same requirements of eligibility as other forms of legal documentation. Eliminate voter boxes, while creating a safe, legal & monitored way to receive ballots during regular business hours at city, county or state offices. Eliminate any possibility for outside or private funding of elections, voter ids, voter registration.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

While I would not disagree that racism exists in some/small instances, it is not a threat to domestic security. However, the perpetual teaching of racism or any form of elitism IS a threat. We have a constitution that ensures equal rights and laws that need to be enforced.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

As a state and nation, we need to make every effort to support independence with our energy and resources. At the same time, with everything we do, we must ensure we are not causing more problems with the solution or efforts.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Just enough to preserve safety of its citizens and allow for peaceful and quiet lives.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://www.facebook.com/Michiganlibertyleaders/posts/173451518453551, my personal facebook page, which has been public for awhile. I have not had a lot of interview--this is from 2 years ago, when I ran for State Rep: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crDp9u8xGr4

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I have a strong foundation for decision making--it is very reserved, yet with maximum discernment. I have been through enough crises to know when & how to make a decision quickly and when/how to slow it down. I believe the solution can never be worse than the problem. Legislatively, my priorities are around: Family/Parents, Jobs/Economy and Freedom, including parental rights, education, health freedom, and opportunities for business to thrive. I will champion efforts that preserve the rights already preserved in the Constitution as well as eliminating efforts to reduce them.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Neutral

I am not sure if I am mis-readiing this. Similar to the military, when an officer is performing the duties of their job, while on duty, correctly, yes I agree they should be free of fear of lawsuits against them. However, all public officials must be accountable to following the law. There is an element of a case-by-case basis.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. We need to enforce the laws we have, not create laws of further restrictions for legal gun ownership.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
