QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life of the mother only.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Agree

This should be the decision of the patient with the cooperation of the Patient's Doctor.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Repeal the Senior's Pension taxes. No more new taxes or tax cuts. We have more than enough revenue to sustain our government departments. If more is needed we need to evaluate spending and put priorities on where money is being spent.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

No matter what department we cut spending in, there will be push back. Our budget should be made with an eye on balancing it and paying down our massive national debt. One idea would be to have a 1% cut across the board in all departments. No more baseline budgeting.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

College should be affordable but not free.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Agree

Businesses should not discriminate against anyone.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. Obamacare made health insurance available for everyone. If it's not working then abolish it and come up with a better system.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

never

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Secure the southern border to keep Islamic terrorists out of our country. Support Israel's right to exist and honor our agreements to defend them. Continue work that Donald Trump started by convincing Middle East countries to have peaceful relations (Abraham Accords) with Israel. Offer military support to countries under attack from ISIS or Alqueda. Failure will expand their terrorist networks and create a threat to our security.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I do strongly disagree with the Boycott. As long as Israel has countries that have pledged to destroy their country, launch rocket attacks on civilian populations, and commit terrorist attacks against their citizens, I could not possibly agree to sanctions against Israel.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The wall that America has already paid for under Trump is laying on the ground rusting away because the Biden admin will not secure our border. He is creating a dangerous country for Americans. Trump's policies were working, but on the day President Biden took office, he reversed those policies and has caused a dramatic increase if illegal aliens coming to our country. This is causing massive problems with border states.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone should be allowed to come into the USA as long as they do it legally/ I do not support open borders or illegal immigration. Allowing immigrants to come into our country simply by claiming asylum is a scheme created by the Democrat Party to allow more immigrants into our country, with no logical way to support themselves. We need to overturn laws allowing chain migration, visa lotteries, and any other scheme to inflate the number of immigrants who enter our country.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Disagree

I do not agree with taking money away from public schools to support private or charter schools. If the public school system is broken, FIX IT! Make school board members accountable for their policies. Defunding public schools is not the answer. If a parent chooses another option they should pay for it.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

It is important to also recognize the rights of other religions and not to discriminate. Respect others religions.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Neutral

It doesn't bother me who you love or marry. It's a personal decision and the Government needs to stay out of people's bedrooms.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Americans are not fundamentally racist. There is a class of people who want to think that way. The fact is God made us in all shades of love! We should all be proud to be different and think for ourselves. What a boring world we would be living in if everyone looked alike, think alike, and talk alike. Being different is what makes us unique. We come from all walks of life, all shades of skin color. CRT teaches a revisionist history that does nothing to heal the racial divide in our country.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Family, Faith, and God as my savior. He has guided me through life and has never led me wrong. I have lived my life with strong morals and values in life.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Photo ID will help to prevent voter fraud. There is no possible way to have an honest and secure election without demanding identification. They are easily available to every citizen in this country.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Paper Ballots, Limited Absentee or mail-in ballots, Photo ID required, Illegals migrants and convicted Felons should not be allowed to vote. State election laws should be set by the Legislature (as stated in the Constitution). I strongly support the Secure MI vote ballot initiative.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

NO, it isn't. Groups like BLM are creating this issue. Racism comes in all colors, I do not agree that we have a White Supremist problem.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Since the '60's we have passed laws to protect races from discrimination, and even given minorities priorities on employment and educational opportunities. I see no reason to give reparations for things that occurred generations ago.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A). We are currently witnessing what happens when you make rapid, drastic changes to our environmental laws. I support a gradual, common-sense transition that will not damage our economy. Countries like Germany are learning this lesson right now.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I support hydraulic fracking. This allows sites where drilling is extremely difficult to extract oil where most of the oil has been depleted to use fracking to extract any remaining oil. There are environmental dangers, and more effort needs to be put into the science to make fracking safer. As long as sites with large oil reserves are being banned from exploration by our government, this is our only option to become energy independent.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The Government's purpose is to secure and protect the Citizens. Our diversity in America is our biggest strength. With the right people working in the government, we can achieve a better tomorrow for our people.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I consider myself a fiscal conservative.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://thecountypress.mihomepaper.com/articles/genesee-twp-woman-enters-republican-field-to-run-for-newly-drawn-67th-house-district/

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

never

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

“I’ve experienced life. I think I can relate with the working people of the 67th District that are concerned about the high cost of living, inflation, high gas prices at the pump and groceries at the store. These are the everyday issues that people are dealing with.”

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

Untie their hands and give them the tools and training to do their job without the fear of prosecution. If a police officer has to stop and evaluate the repercussions of his actions, it will end up costing lives. As a former Sheriff Deputy I understand the dangers and responsibilities of qualified immunity.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

REFUND the Police. Our departments are being required to supply breathalyzer/intoxilizer, and advanced latent fingerprinting equipment, body camera's and other equipment they can't afford. This takes away from other life saving equipment police officers need. Mental health and community programs need to be funded from other sources.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Law-abiding gun owners do not need any more restrictions. Before we start talking about taking gun rights away from citizens, we should first find ways to lower the crime rate.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

The legal gun dealers and manufacturers don't pull the trigger, the criminal does. We need tougher jail time and penalties for gun criminals, instead of cutting deals to lower charges and sentencing times.
