OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Ultimately, none. With only 1% of abortions being about rape, incest and the life of the mother, I want to focus on the 99% first.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

The vast number of abortions happening each year in the US are done in connection with Planned Parenthood directly or indirectly.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Suicide means "you" kill yourself, self-murder. The Law should never make suicide and euthanasia lawful. (NOTE: euthanasia comes from Greek, "eu" meaning "good"; "thana" coming from their word for "death.")

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Simplifying the tax brackets themselves. Fewer brackets. Perhaps a "flat tax" would be best. Eliminate "hidden" taxes. Reduce Government spending in all areas possible.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Closing down government programs which enable dependency long-term would be a great start. Reducing government employee salaries, or at least capping them. Dr. Fauci receives more annual income then the President (around $430K/year).

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

There may be situations with the poorest amongst us when it may be appropriate to offer incentives for grants which only need to be paid back if certain standards/grades are not maintained, but not blanket student loan forgiveness.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Violating conscience is neither safe nor sane.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. Parents are always in charge of their children and their medical health.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Deal with any who violate US laws, like any other criminals. Strengthen the laws so that they address and warn any who wish to go down this dark road.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Build the wall in all areas which are vulnerable to illegal crossing into the US. Enforce immigration law. Support Border Patrol.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We should allow anyone who is not a threat to the US and all who are beneficial to the US who wish to join this great nation. We have to balance the wants and needs of those who need or want entrance into the US. Only those who support American ideals should be allowed, so we should be wise.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Tax dollars should follow wherever each child attends school. Parents should be the decision makers.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

All are welcome to follow the dictates of their own consciences, but Judeo-Christian values are best. Freedom of choice does not necessarily that ones choice leads to freedom.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Science, God and conscience affirm that there are just 2 genders: male and female. Those who suffer from or deal with any level of dysphoria need someone to love and to guide them back to health. Change or adjust the thinking over time and get healthier.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

What God joins together, let no one separate. God blesses the union of one man and one woman.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

America is the least racist country on earth.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian. The Bible is inspired by God and is needed by every human on earth. In the end, only those who followed God's way will be pleased with their eternal decision. God wants all to follow Him. Jesus Christ is the Savior of all, especially those who believe.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Proof of identity is rational and a must.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

No ballot harvesting. No drop boxes. People must have a good reason to do absentee voting. Only US citizens can vote. Closing loopholes is important.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Any who practice racism must face the consequences of their words or actions. But racism is not a huge problem. The media who obsess over skin color are complicit. The human race is the only race we have on earth. All people are "shades of brown" and we need to spread the message that we come from the same family...if we trace back enough generations.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations do nothing to actually repair.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. The planet God made is far more resilient than most are willing to admit.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To protect the rights of Citizens. To protect Citizens from threats foreign and domestic. A government big enough to give us everything is a government strong enough to take everything away. Limited government is best.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

City Council Minutes from Windom on their website. Articles I have written in the Cottonwood Citizen (local newspaper).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I have experience with many different cultures from around the world, which are present in MN. I have the education necessary to do the responsibilities of a legislator. I have been preparing myself for many years for this great responsibility. I love MN!

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Few. Those with a history of violence and those verifiably mentally ill should not own a firearm.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Disagree

In most cases, no. There may be a context wherein this may be appropriate, but on the whole never.
