QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Under no circumstances should abortion be allowed. No matter how a baby is conceived, it is not a result of the baby's action. We do not punish an individual--let alone a baby--for a crime or unwanted action he or she clearly did not commit. In this case, the most innocent, the most vulnerable, and the least able for self-defense is punished in the place of another person. Further, the life of the mother being used to uphold abortion is a false premise. This would become a medical triage and not an abortion.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would require welfare recipients to drug test and eliminate funding for those who test positive, eliminate food stamps for unnecessary items, cut back on education administrator's salaries (such as six figures for many superintendents of smaller districts), eliminate subsidies for certain industries that do not produce jobs or grow economics (film industry), and audit to find any other wasteful spending.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state was intended to prevent the state from establishing a state religion and mandating the populace to abide. It is not separation FROM church and state. Our nation was founded to provide safe haven for people to worship how they choose, and not just in their homes, but publicly as well. Many early public contracts and constitutions incorporated God, godly principles, and the commandments in them. This was not proselytizing, it was merely reflecting that our basic human principles and laws originate from God and are paramount to a free society. Separation FROM church and state believes that one must eliminate his or her religious beliefs at the door of entering society, but this is itself a religious belief of humanism/secularism and has deceived others into abdicating their right to worship as they choose.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would eliminate obstacles that prevent increased competition among relevant healthcare entities and require such entities to list costs upfront and not post-medical attention.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone who is not associated with terrorism, able to work, and will assimilate should be allowed to legally immigrate to our country.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Christ Jesus is my Lord and Savior, God is my Father, and the Holy Spirit counsels, comforts, and convicts me. I am a part of the Church, which is the body and is comprised of all the children of God who have unique gifts, desires, and callings. Jesus is the head of our body. I do life with fellow believers (my brothers and sisters in Him) and we bear one another's burdens and provide accountability in truth and love. As Christians we are to serve and walk with one another in love out of fear into freedom.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

My campaign website (http://griderforhouse2020.com) includes descriptions of each part of my platform: maintain 1st and 2nd amendments, fight tax increases, affirm and support local education, ensure parental rights, and protect the pre-born.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Multi-disciplinary degree in Leadership Organization and Social Issues. This degree was comprised of classes in psychology/behavioral sciences, constitutional studies, and leadership. Through Liberty University I acquired a Masters in Executive Leadership which included classes such as Strategic Leadership and Management, Leading Organizational Change, Effective Executive Communication, and Ethical Leadership (to name a few). As for experience, I have been a teammate and leader for many years in athletics, served in leadership positions in college, worked in the childcare and education industries, and am a Leadership Coach and Consultant. Bringing people together and uniting them under a common cause is a natural role for me. I am a natural facilitator, relational, understand interdependencies, and am quick to determine how to achieve goals--these are things I have been doing my whole life in various capacities

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I was raised in Mustang Oklahoma by my mom and dad with a sister and two brothers. One of my grandfathers was a football coach and the other was a farmer. I loved playing sports, going to school, exploring the pastures, learning in Sunday school, and attending VBS in the summer. I was greatly influenced by my aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, and coaches--all of whom were involved in church and in the community. Faith, personal responsibility, hard work, resilience, and learning were instilled in me throughout my childhood and early adulthood. It is because of this environment that was produced by a free society and maintained with conservative values that I am confident in my identity in Christ Jesus and am able to fully pursue God's purpose for me in my passions and desire to serve others.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support Constitutional carry and the current laws in existence in Oklahoma. I do not support Red Flag laws. Criminals do not obey laws, therefore gun control takes guns out of law abiding citizens hands and renders them defenseless against those who aim to harm them.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Number one I will author legislation to end abortion. Number two I will author legislation to move education special elections such as school board members and bond votes to general election dates so communities are more involved in their local schools (as was intended). Number three I will author legislation that will shift some of our revenue dependence away from oil and gas.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Real racism is not a threat to domestic security. While it is a vile thing, it is the false accusations of racism that are threats to our national security. We are a sovereign nation and claiming that enforcing our sovereignty is racist is extremely detrimental to the safety of our people and the people coming in illegally. Controlling our borders prevents foreign diseases from entering and spreading, stops human traffickers from other countries, keeps drugs from being imported, and filters potential terrorists.
