QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Choose not to answer
All medications should meet safety standards. And all medication should have informed consult after consulting with doctors and being informed of all potential side effects and possible other medication interactions.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Only when the life of the mother is in physical danger.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
This is a State issue, we have seen the harm caused when the federal government (even if just by Supreme Court ruling) gets involved in this matter.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It is a phrase that does not exist in the Constitution and has been used to discriminate and badger religious institutions and beliefs. The Constitution says that Congress cannot establish a religion or prohibit the free exercise of religion. Strictly put, that means the government cannot favor one religion over another and it cannot stop someone from practicing their religion.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Individuals cannot be compelled to violate their religious beliefs. However, a hospital cannot refuse to save someone's life because the religion of the manager says they cannot treat someone of a different religion. Or a grocery store cannot refuse to sell groceries. Basically no one can be forced to use their God given talents in a way that violates their belief. But just selling a product off the shelf to someone cannot be stopped based on that person's religion.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C). We need to balance our budget and get out of debt. To do that we should only give money to other countries when our interests are involved or to help aid a true ally. Anyone who votes against us in the UN should not receive funds. Any country that hates us and plots against us should not receive money.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Currently China is not an ally. However, we have grown too dependent on them for supplies and products. We need to become self-sufficient. We must always have our guard up against countries that are against us.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. Israel is the only true ally in the Middle East. They are a democracy, and they want peace in the Middle East. In 1948 the current state of Israel was formed on historical Israelite land as a result of the atrocities of the WWII. Unfortunately, many still hate them simply because they are Jewish. They need our support.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
There are many reasons. 1 the military has gone work and pursued things that decrease our military readiness. 2 Our education system has declined and stopped teaching patriotism. 3 We have been in recent never-ending wars. 4 Current entertainment culture has devalued military service. 5 forced vaccinations.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
No one should ever be forced to put chemicals into their bodies. It should not be required.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C). It is very hard once programs are created to get rid of them and not leave people hurt. Seniors have been forced onto Medicare and to cut that off without an alternative would be cruel. There is nothing wrong with the government providing a safety for those who truly need it in Medicaid. However, if there was a plan in place to allow seniors to go back into the private market with no harm to them and eventually abolish Medicare, that would be good. Government does not provide good services.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
1st we must balance the budget and begin to pay back the National debt. We must lower government spending. We must bring back the tax breaks under President Trump. The loopholes in tax law that allow the rich to avoid taxes must be fixed.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
However, the interest on the student loan is negotiable. That is where we can help alleviate the burden. We need to work on the costs of tuition as it has gotten out of hand partly because the students loans have allowed it to increase because big government is there to guarantee payment.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
Public money should be used wisely and never used to harm the environment. But science is subject to change and current science that has not been verified should not be used to harm our citizens and create more debt.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Secure the border 1st
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We should only allow individuals to come to this country who want to work and assimilate into our society by learning English, obeying our laws, respecting our customs, knowing our Constitution and history, and taking an oath that our Constitution is the supreme law of the land. These individuals can only bring their spouse, minor children, and dependents (examples elderly parents and disabled adult children) with them whom they will support.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
However, there should be no forced regulations and rules on the Home School children.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
However, the states must allow for the options in 1, school choice including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools, with no regulations or rules on home school (other than proving that the children are grade level at the appropriate subjects).
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The Second Amendment is a vital component of our Constitution that helps to protect every other right given in that document. Our Constitutions says that the 2nd Amendment cannot be infringed. In very limited circumstances, such as a violent felon, guns may be limited; however, there must be a legal proceeding with due process afforded to the person before guns may be restricted.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Strongly Disagree
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The general purpose of the federal government is to provide a defense for our nation; to keep the union together & settle disputes between the states; guarantee Liberty; and promote the general welfare.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. He died on the cross for mine and every other human's sin. It is upon acceptance and repentance that we are saved. I believe the Bible is the Living Word of God that is still active and working today. I believe in the Trinity. I believe that the greatest commandants are to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul, mind, and resources, and the second is to love our neighbors as ourselves. It is important that I don't just read God's word but daily implement the commands that God has given by renewing my mind and working to shed myself of sinful desires. It is not possible to attain perfection here on earth, but I should work on it each day by making God my number one priority.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Women fought to have Title 9 so that girls could have the same sporting opportunities as boys. This current issue of allowing biological males, who have distinct physical advantages over females, to compete with females is undoing the hard-fought victories of Title 9.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Disagree
Man made pollution is a problem that should be stopped. However, the current climate change agenda is being used to destroy our economy and jobs. It is implemented to make rich those connected to the law makers who pass the laws and there is no proof that any of it decreases emissions.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
All viable energy sources should be on the table and the people should decide. The so-called green energies do not create enough to sustain our society and people's lives should not be risked.
