Our Constitution guarantees us separation of church and state in that it guarantees there will be no government sponsored religion. It guarantees us freedom of religion, but does not guarantee us freedom from religion. Every person, including pastors of churches, has the right to have personal religious beliefs and to discuss them in public.

As a Railroad Commissioner, I will support legislation introduced by state senators and representatives, that will modernize the TRCC and maximize the ability of the energy industry to continue supporting our state's economic success.

I understand that racism exists in the United States, but do not feel it is a threat to our domestic security. I do, however, feel that racism from outside this country should be a direct security concern for the United States.
