I know firsthand the importance of protecting private property. I brings that mindset to my role as Commissioner—ensuring that landowners are respected and that operators follow the rules. Whether it’s overseeing remediation, settling disputes, or enforcing standards, I am working every day to make sure Texans are treated fairly.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
From pipelines to LNG terminals, I believe the path to energy security runs through Texas. That’s why I am pushing back on unnecessary federal delays and working to speed up permitting at the state level. With a pro-energy administration in Washington, the opportunity is now. I am making sure Texas doesn’t just lead in production—but leads in moving energy to where it’s needed most.

Prior to President Trump's election I held the line against Biden's Bureaucrats who had every intention of harming or shutting down our domestic oil and gas industry. Now, with President Trump back in the White House I have worked hand in hand with his Administration to dismantle Biden's green new deal policies and bring common sense back to our domestic energy sector. Maintaining access to the vast amounts of affordable produced natural resources in Texas is critical.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Oil and gas is the lifeblood of Texas energy and power. Don't California Texas Energy! Oil and gas makes up over 1/3 of the Texas economy, and we need to make sure that industry is strong enough to lead Texas into the future.
