QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
This is the decision of the medical professional and their patient. The Government shall not regulate medical procedures. The Oath of Hippocrates should guide all medical procedures where the Physician and the patient and family are the ones involved. It is not my belief that abortions should be used as a regular means of birth control, however, I agree with it as a medical procedure when necessary. It is not my position as a legislator to determine the best healthcare for any person. These are sometimes life-threatening decisions which must be made on the spur of a moment. When medical decisions happen like this, in order for the doctor to move forward during a situation, like this, there must be a court order. I am familiar with this. When we were children, my brother was deadly allergic to bees. He was stung and my mother was out of town, we took him to the emergency room and they refused to treat until the emergency room received an order from the Judge who was on duty that night. The judge happened to be a member of my mother's church and he gave the approval to treat a minor right away. Imagine how many people will die because of government regulation of procedures. This is a medical decision and should be left to the medical profession. 1. As a mother who experienced an emergency while in the delivery room where I had a negative reaction to the epidural, my autonomic system stopped functioning normally and the baby went to sleep. The choice of who to try to save became an emergency question, It was a miracle that either of us survived, let alone both of us. My automatic breathing stopped and I had to be coached to breathe in/out. The baby's life was totally dependent on my keeping breathing. It was in that moment that I realized the oneness of mother and child and that the child had no autonomy until it could breath on its own. No doctor, family or mother should have to face the government scrutiny when they need to determine what route to take for their medical care. This is Government overreach. The removal of healthcare decisions from the patient and her caregiver will place many mother's and children's lives at risk. Abortion should be allowed when the patient and their doctor determines that it is the best medical care for that person in that situation.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Disagree
At no point is the government able to determine when a medial procedure is necessary. This should be left to the medical provider and their patient, hence the need to provide funds for medical care should be done without prejudice when the procedure is determined to be medically necessary. When the choice is elective, it should be treated the same as any other elective surgery for purposes of insurance and payment by others. We must be careful to address the real problem; morality.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
I believe that assisted death is not necessary. I believe that once we are born, there is no need to help us die. All are guaranteed to die, with or without help.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
We must protect autonomy of persons and their rights to their beliefs. Public services should be public and available to all persons equally.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None, it is Unconstitutional. Church and state should be separate. Our Constitution declares that. Churches should not be required to register anything. They should not be used to launder criminal activities, so crimes should be enforced equally.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Stop giving a trove of weapons to them. Stop being the world's patrols and make alliances with other nations to keep the threats under control through agreements and access to weapons. We should fix America for immigration and naturalization and create more community within our own country. When we do not address instability and racism at home, we cannot fight abroad. With an unstable homeland, we cannot patrol the world, nor anticipate what is next for our own country.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Agree
Peace agreements are needed to keep conflict down and elevate peace around the world. All persons have rights, and the rightful owners of lands and spaces should be a concern that is addressed in order to mitigate wars and conflicts that have been longstanding. I believe our position in trade and investment should be evaluated for supporting human rights around the world. Because I am a person of color in America, I believe issues can only be addressed when the homefront is addressed.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C. We need the freedom to choose plans, doctors and insurance providers. We must keep the free market working for us. While we must ensure that every citizen has access to health care. I believe in a net that allows our essential workers to get medical care but not freeloaders to benefit without work.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None. This is dictatorship. We mus have autonomy and control of our bodies. like any other medical procedure. Schools should not be required, let alone vaccinations in schools.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The playing field should be leveled through equalizing opportunity, so the tax codes should be able to be equally applied. If things were equal, there could be a flat tax. Tax laws fuel the disparity in our society by deciding which groups are allowed to be granted tax credits, while taxing others at levels higher than persons earning much more than the lower wage earners. Because laws governing the IRS can determine who gets tax credits, it routinely offers unfair allocations of the taxes gathered from all of the people, then given to those whom it chooses through lobbying and persuasive efforts only afforded the rich. Equal opportunity must prevail. This must be used to include all citizens, having access to opportunity. . Monies are often given the same groups instead of random groups, but the people's hard earned monies are not available to support their entrepreneurship, relief, or equalizing the playing field. As a woman of color it has become apparent that all things work together to make certain allocations of monies available mainly to Caucasian males. more often than for females and persons of color. The tax codes often allow for investments in areas which preserve the status quo. When the new energy industry was being developed, many tax credits were built into the tax code. The monies were only available after developments were put in place. This type of code allows for those who have money to always benefit, while others are not included, making society unequal. Taking all of the people's money yet allowing special privileges to only a few is unfair. There must be a tax code that allows for equal access to monies that all have contributed as wall as a way in for the disenfranchised. Laws which allow persons to get rich through exploiting others should be abolished. Often big businesses make the profits, but also enjoy tax breaks. In the latest round of disappointments, the renewable energy push has just turned into using the Defense Production Act in order to disburse these funds. People seeking a way into solar now find themselves pushed out and monopolies such as power companies stand to gain tax credits and sell their customers the sunshine with a guaranteed profit and tax credits. We have a whole new energy revolution brewing, but we are being excluded by the President's determination to act as if it is an emergency and allocate funding after stating that he was meeting with utilities to help speed the implementation of renewables. When President Obama was President, there were billions let out for developing this technology, however blacks were encouraged to vote for the democratic party, however, they had no inroads into this new industrial revolution. I was in a meeting in Washington with the Secretary of Energy Steven Chu in 2009, and asked if the allocation of 600 million dollars had any set aside for women and minorities. He ignored me. A man named Joe Garcia, pulled me aside and said he would help me. I later found that there was no set aside for minorities or women although their vote had been highly sought. McKinsey and Company had been consulted with in order tell the government how to spend their money. Matt Rogers had been with McKinsey and Company. He was working for the Department of energy allocating the money at that time. Matt Rogers announced that most of 600 million was; "going to you in this room", when there were almost all utility companies present. This was for the demonstration of Smart Grid. Although there were supposed to be 3 equitable funding opportunities, Matt Rogers, he knew that most of the money was going to the people in the room. There were no additional funding Opportunities. Matt Rogers was right. Most of the recipients were utilities and smart meter manufacturing companies who had been preparing their grant applications over a year ahead. We are being left out and trillions are being allocated from tax payers, but to the same people who sell you energy with a guaranteed profit for themselves. Yes, the tax code needs overhauling to be fair. Money is gathered from everyone and given to a few who are in the inner circle allowing them to become ultra rich, then influencing the tax codes. Our country cannot afford to contiue being sold to monopolies. We must support tax breaks and tax codes for opportunities that all can benefit equally. Public monies should be distributed to all segments of society equally, not to the rich to trickle down, which clearly, does not work
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would reduce the investment in mass incarceration, militarized policing, while investing in targeted education to increase our gross domestic products. . I would end the supplement of private enterprises which are allowed to grow "too big to fail", such as the banking bailouts, resulting in bailing out private companies which are monopolies controlling the taxpayers while relying on the taxpayers to pay. I would end monopolies and allow for free markets to develop.. The defense budget must be audited and only spend what is needed, not wasted on large open ended contracts nor would I support endless wars. I would eliminate the criminalization of victimless crimes and provide treatment of drug use as a disease, returning many persons to productive lives. This will helpd reduce the size of policing and enforcement and maintaining prissons. I would eliminate the US Department of Assimilation.(Education). This organization has created a basis for structural racism with instructions to children to dissociate from families and follow a program to achieve the goals of one world government. The US Department of Education has reached into homes and separated families by telling persons how to look, who to marry, and how to assimilate in society through the education system. This is an experimental training program which stole my son and sold him into slavery, I lost my son to brainwash, when I sought to get him a degree in Computer software engineering, he became useless to his family, after he received his Master's degree from Cornell. When I traveled back to Cornell to inform them that they had send me a mental patient not an educated person, I was informed that this was a personal problem. The education department teaches people of color to be "lesser-thans" while educating them with degrees that are not worth the same as their Caucasian counterparts. It is time we designed our own children's educations and stop allowing them to be educated to serve other communities, families and build businesses for persons with no concern for the overall health of our community. We must rebuild self-sustainability into our children and communities. Our country must rearrange its priorities from patrolling the world and globalization of food and essential good and repatriate these things by supporting local, small businesses. Live Local, End Globalization, GMO, Laboratory produced meats, and foreign supplies of essential goods.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Neutral
If education is required, there should be an equal access to it for persons not able to afford it. High student debt with a degree that is worth less for a person of color than a Caucasian is not an education system at all. We need to change the education system so that it provides equal opportunities or no one should pay for it. College with high debt and no return on investment is simply a bad choice. Many persons are not college materials, and for those we should provide training.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Disagree
Build the wall. The effect of allowing illegal immigration is felt greatly at the lower economic levels, eliminating the priority for our government to increase the minimum wage. With a steady stream of illegal immigrants, the US has a ready source of low wage earners, causing displacement of untrained/unskilled labor among its own citizens. Few know that the population of untrained US Citizens who wind up in prison is made possible by the failure to enforce immigration laws.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Our code is clear and we should make it equal for all nations, not just those who can run in through Mexico over land. There is a process, the other routes are illegal. Illegals should not be allowed to benefit from the work of those who are legally in the country nor to skip in line to get here. We have worked hard to build a country that offers opportunities, yet all too often, American citizens are displaced by persons who have migrated here illegally and are willing to work for less than US Citizens are able to work for and maintain a decent level of living. We must limit the number of immigrants and seek those persons who make the country stronger, not weaker. Without a wall, there will be more criminals and non-desired persons immigrating into the country. Allowing illegals to vote is like having persons invade your home, then direct you in your affairs.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
Our children, Our goals. Taking children out of the home and teaching them how to assimilate to force government goals such as "E Pluribus Unun", making one person out of many is simply an experiment in genetics. Our children have been trained to conform and to reject their home training. Persons should be allowed to train their children in ways that further their families status in society. They may need to be educated differently. Parents should determine their children's education.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Disagree
Policing in America has two faces, one for the black community and one for the white community. White people do not realize this and often celebrate police officers. Growing up in the ghetto then moving to all white areas, I know the difference.. There are bad cops, John Powell was part of Escambia County Sheriff's Dept when my nephew was murdered with police involvement. As Chief of police in Dothan, people complained of drug planting, in Brusnwick, he was jailed for a fake drug task force.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Agree
Police departments have become militarized. Who are their enemies? People who look like my children? Why? lack of opportunities, ghettos, poor schools, breakdown of families by drugs treated as crimes and given life sentences for a $5 crack rock? It is time we worked on the cause, not the effects of discrimination and segregation. We need community minded policing and a solution to the problems leading to drug infestation and use. The police must be demilitarized.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Gun ownership is a constitutional right. The public will be protected when the causes of murders is addressed. Gun rights should not be tampered with, lest we be reminded of what the President said when talking about the power of the military as if it were a force to overthrow us all: https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/biden-gun-owners-with-ak-47s-cant-beat-the-governments-f-15s-with-hellfire-missiles/ It appears that our government is standing in a position where the military appears to be against the citizens. We have the right to bear arms that will not allow government takeover. We must understand our rights to not only gun ownership, but the right to possess weapons that will not allow government to overpower us. We must organize and demand our rights. I will protect the rights of citizens to bear arms. A clear example of this is the black people were told that if they sold their guns in "gun buyback" programs, getting guns out of the hands of criminals in the 90's that it would reduce crime in the black communities. Many law abiding citizens sold their guns for $25 in drives led by Dr. Joseph Lowery and Rev. Jesse Jackson. Violence among young blacks has skyrocked, but sadly violence against them by police has also skyrocketed. The thought that giving your guns away will make you safer is simply not true. Every citizen has a constitutional right to a gun unless they are not able to safely operate it. I believe that family members and persons who know of mental instabilities should serve as first lines of defense to report unsafe situations. Otherwise, like having a license to drive a car, everyone should be allowed unless proven unable to manage it safely. Surely, the federal government should not be involved in this matter it is a state's rights issue.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Unless the manufacturer or dealer shot them, there is no responsibility to them. This would follow that the victims of automobile accidents should be able to sue the manufacturer of the car if someone took it and killed them. Unless there is a manufacturer's defect, this should not be allowed.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
God gives us our rights and Government is there to protect our God Given Rights. Government should interfere as little as possible in our lives. One problem is that the government has overreached deep into our daily lives, taking over things that we should not need regulation of, such as destroying the free market by putting prices at a certain level and quotas on bread and other commodities. They have been creating monopolies which determine our food, medical care, education and ultimately our ability to rise in society. We are victims of government overreach. Due to the divisive means in which the overreach is achieved there is structural racism and classism which allows the government to use communication and education to keep persons feeling "better than" those who are treated worse and thereby turning a blind eye to injustice amongst persons they do not identify with. The citizens of the United States must unite to understand their needs and ensure that government provides as they were formed to do. without overthrowing all of us. Libertarians believe in protecting the rights of the individual.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Moderate
As a woman of color, I believe in small Government and constitutional rights, but realize that this country's history is clear and their action targets people like me to allow its organizations to deny access to capital while promoting persons over Bronze skinned wooly- haired people. This has resulted in creating unshakeable structures inside society which must be addressed with laws for equality. This leads to less government for the free market and more oversight in human rights.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
never
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
We must end imprisonment as a business in the state of Alabama. We must fix the education system so people will have actual choices and opportunities, Save our farms. Small farms and self-sufficiency is our best route to fixing our communities and ensuring our security in the future Small government where our constitutional rights are protected Address Mental health issues especially in relation to gun violence and drug use and stop government overreach to deprive us of our constitutional rights. Women's rights to: healthcare, contracting, and equal employment autonomy of self, protection for individual rights of persons End Corruption in Alabama, fix the state to retain our best and brightest as well as make a way for all of Alabama to prosper and grow, locally. Ending government enforcement in cases where choices of consenting adults.create no victim, sex, drugs, etc. which lead to needless incarceration I support the legalization of marijuana which will reduce criminal enforcement and get help for abusers Mass Education, not Mass incarceration
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Disagree
Humanity's right to autonomy should determine the framework of our values. We must respect each other and protect the autonomy of one's beliefs. Basing our government on one religion and asking all religions to conform mixes government and religion. It is not the right of one to oppose their beliefs on another as our constitution does not allow the mixing of church and state. We should legislate in a manner that does not impose religious values on or restrict other's beliefs. .
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
I believe that Justice should be blind and sex neutral. We should ensure that all persons are protected, but not one over the other. I believe that human rights are the same and that the rainbow belongs to all of us as a symbol of people of many colors one cause, one justice. I do not believe in different types of justice. I believe we all know innately what is fair, honest and just and we should strive for this.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Disagree
Government must allow all persons to be treated equally, We have strayed far from the Bible, welcomed all religions, and cannot force our beliefs upon others when we merge church and state. The church can define marriage any way that they want and label it Holy Matrimony. The legal ability to unite and the masses to marry is a right to all persons, equally.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Agree
Persons whose skin is brown are given less opportunities. This has been built-into the fabric of our Institutions and continue to this day. Cornell New York City Tech was created in 2012 with an all white board of directors except one Indian man. My son was their "token" for Bloomberg's dream. Take a look at the universities of America, Their staff is mainly white and mainly whites attend these. They were built on principles that slaves could build but not attend. This is built-in.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Live and let live. I am Christian who believes that some seek and may find God through other means while some do not even seek God but I know my way to God and am confident that when Elected, I will keep Church and State separate in order to be fair and just. Church and state are different. I believe that humanity has certain guidelines and as a legislator, there are laws that can be made, but they do not have to be based on religion.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Agree
If a person has no access to get a photo ID due to closing of facilities to obtain such ID near them, There should be a means to identify them, other than the state sanctioned picture process. This can be persons with picture ID who swear to know them and accompany them, etc. Ideally, it should be the responsibility of the state to ensure that all persons who are eligible to vote should have a free picture ID provided. Closing the facilities supplying identification is voter suppression.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Paper balllots, No voting machines. We must have paper ballots and count each vote. In Alabama, during the Rob Riley, Don Siegelman governor's race, is the first that I heard about the voting machines and this documentary shows what the outcome was in Alabama: https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?fr=yhs-mnet-001&ei=UTF-8&hsimp=yhs-001&hspart=mnet¶m1=3503¶m2=84593&p=don+siegelman+documentary&type=type9099612-spa-3503-84593#id=1&vid=da809950e2af4b6c0ab4b65e9818e681&action=click I do not believe in using margins of error. It seems that votes were unaccounted for leading to the most famous political prisoner in Alabama and maybe in this country. The use of electronic voter machines seems to create a dependency on technology which is unwarranted and has our country in a dangerous position which may destabilize our government. There should be no changes in the rules due to any plandemic or other event.we should have established disaster plans. We saw scrambling by a government to fashion rules and rely on an unreliable mail system to deliver ballots after rules suddenly overburdened their system.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is a clear demonstration of Government overthrow of the citizens when police can shoot a black man 60 times and the nation is not in an uproar. Citizens apparently o not understand Government takeover, but they soon will. When they understand that they are paying for this with taxes, government overreach and Militarized police who can seize their weapons, they will understand that racism was a divisive tool, which we must reject. This demonstration of government overreach spills into our communities and threatens all of us. When your government can create the equivalent of a military as a police force, then deploy it on a segment of the population without all of the citizens recognizing their unchecked power as a threat, they can eventually use that same militia to seize guns, force women to not have abortions and force the will of the government on its citizens. When we join together and realize the overthrowing of the citizens by the government is a staged act, starting with racial division, there will be more instability. The fact that a country can provide policing in one area that is protecting and serving then use those same police in other areas to kill shows the power of the government to overthrow its citizens. Our constitution is clear that the citizens have the right to arm themselves, and this means persons of color, and not allow government to kill their families. When persons of all races consider the size and actions of police forces, they will then see the militias that have been created and ow they have been isolating blacks by keeping them divided in order to overthrow one segment of the population at a time. The perpetuation of a segmented society by color is sure to spur conflict within the country. Our domestic security depends on the Citizens of the United States recognizing and standing against government overreach together. As society becomes more blended the cause for pulling the hand of government off us grows. When race is used as a divider, it will eventually become a threat to domestic security even if it is a revolt against the deprivation of opportunities.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Neutral
Reparations should be given on the basis of family heritage as slaves who developed a country without compensation. The United nations traveled around This country in 2015-16 and released a study citing the horrific treatment of the descendants of slavery and people who looked like them and determined that reparations were necessary. The basis should be on what was actually done to whom. Real victims. There were known rapes, murders and hangings, Justice should be granted to victims.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
B. We need to live on this planet. There is no planet B. We know what is harmful to others, yet, we keep dumping toxins in their yards. We must be accountable and stop allowing harm to others. Many of the problems that we face is environmental injustice where a powerful, large often multi-national conglomerate uses the blackyards of persons who are disadvantaged in order to increase profits without accountability. Growing businesses that are monopolies and too big to fail has not served humanity, has contaminated our earth, water and air and threatens life on earth. No job is worth that. We must rely on calculating the FULL BURDENED COST OF ENERGY to determine the cost of products, not simply a low price on the shelf. Having things manufactured in other countries, while dumping large amounts of carbon and harmful chemicals into the environment, is murder. When the coal ash stops our citizens from drinking their water due to diseases that are caused, this is murder. Why should one man be allowed to murder another for money and receive Government Protection? When I complained in Dothan, AL about the Alabama Department of Environmental Management failing to enforce Asbestos laws they provided a fraudulent statement to the Dothan Eagle stating that any company, trained or untrained could remove asbestos. This confused the community, although they knew better. I then turned the paper over to see who owned this newspaper with such blatant lies as news. The paper was owned by a well known businessman. Why do we allow large conglomerates to provide 'fake news' to us? We know the truth. We must hold all parties accountable. The solution is to live local. Get your food locally and keep your own air and water clean . The problem with stricter environmental laws is that we do not need them. We need unbiased enforcement of the laws that we have. Creating more laws, means more government enforcement and more corruption. How can the enforcement agency be found not guilty of any wrongdoing by the FBI and the EPA OIG, when I reported them? Is the solution to have more enforcement or enforce the laws that we have? The FBI at Dothan refused to take the evidence when we complained. The director of Dothan, FBI told me he did not need the evidence. We have corruption infiltrated into our government so deeply that we continue to skirt the problems and allow for overgrowth of government, instead of cleaning house. We simply need to clean house and change our votes to get persons in office like myself who know and will foster in real change. the citizens stating that any company trained or untrained could remove asbestos. This type of coverup which allows our citizens to be harmed must end: https://dothaneagle.com/news/adem-issues-statement-on-asbestos-removal/article_e3322424-bdaa-11e2-96b3-0019bb30f31a.html This is the State Agency claiming that "any company, trained or untrained, can remove asbestos, as the citizens living there were exposed to deadly toxins. We must be good stewards of the earth and consider the full cost of our actions.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Disagree
This process must be greatly controlled in order to protect our water supply. Again, I saw extensive work in Wyoming. The problem with any of these methods even when they are dangerous and contaminate groundwater, is that the scale in which this is being done is far too great. If there was only fracking to support the local areas as we transition to electric vehicles, this would likely not cause the environmental disaster of massive undertakings. We must live local.
